RESPONSIBILITIES

    Position Summary:

    The Experience Store Manager manages and participates in the day-to-day operations of the store ensuring that the customer, both internal and external, has a memorable, unique and fun experience as he/she immerses himself/herself in the word of ABS-CBN, thus increasing satisfaction, loyalty and advocacy. This is done through consistent exceptional Customer Experience and interaction, flawless execution of the strategies, continuous feedback and suggestions, development of the Store leadership team and staff, maintaining of Store Visual standards as well as compliance with established policies and procedures. Responsible for achieving retail and attraction revenue targets.
     
    Duties and Responsibilities:
     
    Strategic Input:
    • Provides learnings /best practices/ analytics to ensure strategies continue to be relevant and aligned with customer needs and expectations.
    • Liasis with top management and assist in the development of strategic plans for operational activity
    • Helps to translate strategic plans into specific priorities, objectives and action plans
    • Understands and drives appropriate metrics to assess performance, i.e. Mystery Shop Score, sales targets and cost efficiencies.
    • Works in collaboration with internal and external ABS-CBN teams to ensure continuous influx of customers, both new and repeats.
    Customer Focus and Vendor / Client Relationships:
    • Creates a pleasing guest environment combined with excellent service through the combination of digital (product information, storytelling, promotion and showcase), brand (environment and experience), increased convenience (click and collect, single view of stock) and customer service (efficient and face-to-face) activities
    •  Understands profile of the customers and ensures that we stay relevant
    • Works harmoniously and builds strong relationships with customers, vendors and suppliers.
    Team Management:
    • Ensure understanding, buy – in and commitment of team in delivering a consistent “kapamilya” experience across all moments of contact.
    • Drives the recruitment, retention and development of a diverse range of talented team members.
    • Strengthens team through consistent coaching and feedback while driving productivity and morale.
    Operations and Day to Day Store Management:
    • Implements and manages operational plans
    • Partners with Store Leadesrhip Team to ensure that the Store is opened and closed in compliance with company policy
    • Upholds all company policies as outlined in the Standard Operating Procedures, Employee Policy Manual and Code of Business Conduct
    • Manages time, projects, processes and resources to produce desired outcomes
    • Submits regular reports / analystics and insight (weekly/monthly) to improve performance, experience and sustainability of the brand.
    • Maintains a professional appearance at all times
    • Secures all assests (merchandise, equipment etc) of the store by implementing security systems and measures
    Brand Building:
    • Supports the Store Mission of providing a memorable personal and unique "kapamilya experience, through inspiring communication, integrity and passion for the Brand.
    • Upholds a culture that builds exceptional internal and external guest experiences through in Store entertainment, guest engagement and building an emotional connection to the brand
    • Holds self and the team accountabke to high performance standards while providing guests with memorable experiences
    • Supports and participates in initiatives that give back to the community to promote the ABS-CBN brand
    Cost Management and Inventory Analysis:
    • Reponsible for Store P&L
    • Constantly reviews Store sales numbers, cost of inventory, operational expenses and inventory loss versus sales targets
    • Develops and recommend ways to increase revenues and customer transactions and maximize profits
    • Controls costs and forecast sales figures and inventory requirements for the Store.
    • Conducts periodic inventory versus sales targets to determine purchase order requirements, timing of delivery, and ordering protocols to optimize store stock without overstocking
    Visual Merchandising:
    • Determines and recommends the best layout of store merchandise that is visually appealing to consumers
    • Train and instructs Store staff on how to maintain the design with the arrival of new merchandise and how to optimize space for special events, such as in store discount sales
    • Executes and communicates all sales promotions and new product information effectively and efficiently.

REQUIREMENTS

    • College degree in business administration, commerce, management, industrial technology or industrial engineering preferred
    • At least 5 years experience in specialty retail in a leadership role
    • Comfortable storytelling in front of large groups of people
