RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Promo Specialist reports directly to Promo and Media Design Group Head.
    • Promo Specialist helps pitch ideas and concepts for plugs and campaigns then proceed to conceptualization and copywriting.
    • Promo Specialist copy checks the blurbs, scripts and concepts of On-air Promo Writer/Producer.
    • Supervises On-air Promo Writer/Producer on ideas, concepts and visual treatments.
    • Presents concept, visual treatment, and copy to Channel Unit Heads, and/or project requestors.
    • Collaborates with Writer/Producer, Media Design Artist and Promo Production Lead for production and execution ideas.
    • Signs approved scripts or copies that are for voicing.
    • Attends all activities relevant to the execution of the project such as shoots, recordings, pre-production meetings, presentations etc.
    • Initiates and facilitates internal presentation of produced creative materials to Channel Unit Head or requestors.
    • Supervises in revising and modifying blurbs, scripts and concepts as required by Channel Unit Heads or requestors.
    • In the absence of the Promo Production Lead, he/she may temporarily oversee the role of checking and presenting the produced creative materials, supervision of the group deliverables, and coordination with other departments.
    • Assumes the duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time by the Promo and Media Design Head and/or GCMO Head.
    • Checks copy synopses and write-ups for specific projects such as FOD planner and Content Communications (Updaters, E-flyers).
    • Participates in Creative Reviews, Workshops and the creation of annual On-air Promo Calendar.

REQUIREMENTS

    • Graduate of Advertising or Communication Arts
    • Minimum of 2 years experience as Promo Producer
    • Must be familiar or have experience as Production Assistant, Researcher, and/or Copywriter
    • Above-average copywriting skills in both Filipino and English
    • Knowledge of Windows, Video editing (FCP, Adobe Premiere) and post production software
    • Knowledge and practice of TV Production
    • Highly creative and able to multi-task
