RESPONSIBILITIES

    Working with the Heads of Engineering Services and Studio operations, the position is responsible for all aspect of operation of the facilities, including the managing internal and outside use of our technical equipment, including rentals; maintenance, and some Broadcast system; and hiring and managing facility and technical staff as needed.
    • Coordinates the access and activities for Studio/OB vans as required by different users
    • Ensure good condition for all technical facilities and equipment and Studio/OB van facilities by creating and conducting maintenance program
    • Recommend improvements and/or update for studio/OB equipment and facilities through:
      • Evaluation of current facilities and equipment
      • Analysis of program requirement
      • Evaluation of proposed improvements and/or upgrades
      • Preparation of facilities and equipment plan and recommendation
      • Presentation and plan implementation or rollout
    • Able to operate, maintain, and teach or train the use of general production/engineering/technical equipment
    • Able to supervise, motivate, monitor and devlop all activities or work of people in the Studio/OB operations.  Can mentor, train and coach staff.
    • Able to monitor all activities and tasks of the unit in accordance with divisional directions, monitor, supervise and correct performance to meet the TV Engineering standards.
    • Able to forecast technical and technological requirements of production and determine both hardware and software requirements.
    • Can identify, analyze and resolve/troubleshoot technical equipment that may arise before or during production operation.
    • Has the ability to effectively communicate and elucidate technical facilities issues and concern to non-technical audience.
    • Integrates, organize, prioritizes and can fulfill all production equipment
    • Remains abreast with the latest broadcasting technology and uses gain knowldge in the operation of his assigned department
    • Acts as SME and contributes technical for strategic planning.
    • Manage operations of his department
    • Schedules, conducts or attends regular meeting with all Engineering heads, section supervisor, production heads and other parties needed.

REQUIREMENTS

    • Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or ECE
    • At least five years of working experience in studio, remote operations and facilities management
    • Experience in handling employees specializing in technical facilities and management or equivalent
