RESPONSIBILITIES

    POSITION SUMMARY

    The primary responsibility of this position is to sell advertising opportunities while maintaining solid, long-term client relationship, meet assigned revenue number or budget and strategic product goals, increase revenue of active accounts and new contracts over previous year, make competitive media calls, prospect for new accounts on a daily basis, develop each account to its maximum potential.
     

    MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

    1. Develop and maintain close relations between media agency and clients to fulfill advertiser’s needs more effectively.
    2. Coordinate with new and existing clients on a day-to-day operation to discuss current and upcoming events.
    3. Meet and exceed annual sales target.
    4. Identify market potential by qualifying accounts per product category.
    5. Initiate the sales process from prospecting, scheduling appointments, making initial presentation, understanding business needs, and developing proposals.
    6. Expand sales in existing accounts by introducing new packages, seasonal campaigns and other opportunities that will benefit the client.
    7. Obtain information and study about the client’s products, needs, and advertising history to offer effective sales presentation and appropriate product assistance.
    8. Responsible in preparing media plans according to the client’s annual campaign.
    9. Responsible in preparing contract agreements and monitor each placement per product.
    10. Process all correspondence and administrative duties related to ad sales.
    11. Attend sales meeting, industry trade shows, and training seminars to gather information, product updates and to expand network and increase knowledge.
    12. Prepare weekly and monthly coverage plan, sales forecast and other updates related to ad sales performance.
    13. Communicate sensibly with clients and provide them with the best alternatives to resolve any disputes.
    14. Evaluate the risks involved, brainstorm for solutions and address the critical matters to superiors to plan the best alternative solutions.
    15. May be assigned to perform other tasks as required.

REQUIREMENTS

     
    • Graduate of any 4-year course but Bachelor’s Degre in Advertising, business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or English is a plus
    • Work Experience – minimum of 2 years’ experience in Advertising, Sales, Marketing, or its equivalent; preferably with strong background in online sales and marketing
    • Must be/possess the following

      • polished and maintains a professional, put-together demeanor
      • confident, ambitious, self-motivated and should strive when working independently
      • keen listener able to pick up clues that will help close sales.

    Other requirements:
    • Willing to travel to other countries, if required
    • Willing to work more than 8 hours and adjust to other region’s time zone
