Prior to the shutdown of its broadcast operations in 2020, ABS-CBN was the largest television network in the Philippines. As a radio broadcast company, it operated 22 radio stations including anchor radio stations in Mega Manila, DZMM and DWRR, in the AM and FM bands, respectively. 
 
The company delivers television programming outside of the Philippines to over 3 million viewers in North America, the Middle East, Europe, Japan, Australia, Canada, and other countries in Asia, through the internet and the Company’s global distribution platform, TFC, using DTH satellite service, cable television channels, IPTV, mobile applications and video streaming services. Its offerings are further complemented by subsidiaries focused on other multimedia services such as film production, music recording, telecommunications, and magazine and book publishing. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

    The Marketing Manager owns the content marketing for the assigned digital platform and is expected to drive user growth, engagement and retention. He / She is responsible for spearheading content or title marketing strategies and campaign executions of the platform/s to deliver against acquisition, retention, content consumption KPIs. 

    This role drives visibility, discoverability, and engagement for new and existing titles across digital platforms. With a sharp understanding of content trends, platform algorithms, and audience behavior, the role is responsible for crafting high-impact marketing initiatives that connect with target audiences and deliver measurable results.
     
    Strategy & Planning
    • Own and drive the development of the overall strategies to grow and activate users and increase engagement to drive consumption of the OTT product. 
    • Develop and lead title-specific marketing strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and viewership across ABS-CBN platforms.
    • Build integrated communication plans in coordination with content, analytics, and media teams.
    • Stay updated on platform trends, title performance, and evolving audience interests to refine strategies.
    • Identify key audience segments and recommend targeted messaging and media placements.

    Campaign Execution
    • Own the end-to-end rollout of marketing campaigns including but not limited to strategy, positioning, creative briefing, media planning, content calendar development, launch, post-mortem reports, and roll-out in coordination with the internal teams - Marketing, Ad Prom and Social, Production teams).
    • Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams—creative, publishing, partnerships, social, PR, and product—for smooth execution of campaigns.
    • Work closely with Subscriber Management in delivering the subscriber acquisition target.
    • Use data help drive decision making to support achievement of KPIs.  

    Team Collaboration & Leadership
    • Mentor junior members of the team and align execution across teams.
    • Drive alignment between creative direction and marketing objectives.
    • Act as a marketing point person during content launches, coordinating real-time feedback and execution adjustments.

REQUIREMENTS

    • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Marketing, Digital Media or other related fields
    • 3+ years of experience in marketing, with strong experience in title/content marketing for digital platforms.
    • Proven track record of leading campaigns from strategy to execution.
    • Deep understanding of OTT, YouTube, and social media content marketing mechanics.
    • Creative, strategic, and data-informed; comfortable using insights to guide marketing actions.
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Entertainment marketing background and knowledge of Filipino pop culture strongly preferred.
    • Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple titles and deadlines simultaneously.
