Prior to the shutdown of its broadcast operations in 2020, ABS-CBN was the largest television network in the Philippines. As a radio broadcast company, it operated 22 radio stations including anchor radio stations in Mega Manila, DZMM and DWRR, in the AM and FM bands, respectively. 
 
The company delivers television programming outside of the Philippines to over 3 million viewers in North America, the Middle East, Europe, Japan, Australia, Canada, and other countries in Asia, through the internet and the Company’s global distribution platform, TFC, using DTH satellite service, cable television channels, IPTV, mobile applications and video streaming services. Its offerings are further complemented by subsidiaries focused on other multimedia services such as film production, music recording, telecommunications, and magazine and book publishing. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

    Duties and Responsibilities:

     This Media Manager is in charge of formulating media planning and buying strategies for Project Innova. Combining creative thinking with factual analysis, this manager ensures that campaigns reach their target audiences as effectively and efficiently as possible helping accomplish the given marketing objectives.

    What you’ll do: 

    • Work with the stakeholders to understand the business objectives and overall strategy of marketing campaigns
    • Analyze target audience media consumption habits, through the use of demographics, psychographics, technographics
    • Work with the creative, production, and partners to recommend the most efficient media buys for every objective, considering the best content formats and touchpoints
    • Prepare and present the strategy, detailed media plans & proposals, including cost & schedule to clients and teams.
    • Monitor and optimize performance of implemented media buys and share this information to key stakeholders
    • Lead and manage other media-related projects as identified by the Marketing Head in relation to the project’s strategic pillars or initiatives. 
    • Create and present regular performance reports for campaigns during and post-implementation
    • Facilitate strategic media partnership deliverables

REQUIREMENTS

    • a graduate of Business/Marketing/Advertising related course
    • a media planner/buyer with at least 3-5 years of experience in a media company or advertising agency
    • analytical, able to work with data to find insights and recommend action plans
    • have Fundamental understanding of Media Planning/Buying, both traditional and digital
    • have the ability to track and understand key measurements of campaign success
    • proficient in basic computer programs like Office 365 programs or the Google suite
    • digital and media savvy 
    • familiar with 360 marketing 
    • results oriented, agile, flexible and proactive 
    • highly creative, organized, and strategic
    • a good communicator both oral and written

    This is a project-based employment.
