Prior to the shutdown of its broadcast operations in 2020, ABS-CBN was the largest television network in the Philippines. As a radio broadcast company, it operated 22 radio stations including anchor radio stations in Mega Manila, DZMM and DWRR, in the AM and FM bands, respectively. 
The company delivers television programming outside of the Philippines to over 3 million viewers in North America, the Middle East, Europe, Japan, Australia, Canada, and other countries in Asia, through the internet and the Company’s global distribution platform, TFC, using DTH satellite service, cable television channels, IPTV, mobile applications and video streaming services. Its offerings are further complemented by subsidiaries focused on other multimedia services such as film production, music recording, telecommunications, and magazine and book publishing. 



    The Designer, Multimedia is responsible for creative execution of static and video materials to support business requirements. His skills include video editing, post-production, still and motion graphic design. He will be working closely with the Creative Services Unit Heads and partner teams. He also combines imagination and creativity with his technical expertise in the utilization of a wide range of software applications and the creative management of teams and projects.

    • Creative Development
      • Design and layout communication materials for online, on-air and on-ground use 
      • Create and animate custom illustrations or other graphic elements, artcards and templates needed for print, online and video production 
      • Lead the compositing /editing/rendering of audio-visual materials (when necessary) 
      • Produce sketches or "storyboards" for TVCs, or "roughs" to communicate ideas to the client/team 
      • Come up with original ideas in response to a brief from internal client; generating creative ideas and concepts to fulfill the campaign requirements 
      • Able to gain an understanding of the target audience and business that the campaign is aimed at 
      • Work on location and attend shoots, as needed 
      • Develop digital creative concepts that achieve the overall business strategy while creating an exceptional digital experience for consumers 
    • Planning and Organizing
      • Manage own accounts and projects, working within budget and scheduling requirements 
      • Adopt a flexible approach to working hours - long hours are often required to meet the needs of the clients
      • Ensure that deadlines are met and can work effectively under pressure.

      • Review illustrative material to determine if it conforms to standards & specifications

      • Able to confer with Creative Services Heads and team to discuss client requirements and presentation of concepts. 
      • Able to confer with clients to determine objectives, budget, background information, and presentation approaches, styles & techniques.
      • Able to negotiate with suppliers, as needed, to determine what services will be performed in a project/deliverable.
    • Presentation Skills
      • Develop presentation materials and present final layouts to clients for approval 
      • Able to tell stories with storyboards
    • Managing Relationships
      • Able to promote productive relations with everyone he/she works with


    • Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts (major in Advertising), Multimedia or related course 
    • Minimum of 2 years design work experience, with a strong knowledge of the challenges of designing for digital 
    • Has good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills 
    • Has excellent work ethics, and can multi-task 
    • Has knowledge in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects 
    • Knows and understands the technical specifications in design: Screen resolutions, Banner sizes and dimensions, File formats, Web specs such as dimensions, Social media specs such as Facebook cover photo size, Twitter background, etc. 
    • Full understanding of file formats and finalizing of files for production and development 
    • Ability to prepare technical design guidelines 
    • Ability to prioritize and organize work.
