It is the public service arm of ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corporation, one of Asia's biggest media conglomerates. RESPONSIBILITIES

    MANAGEMENT OF RELIEF OPERATIONS
    • Regular monitoring of natural and or man-made disasters
    • Coordinate with responsible organizations or beneficiaries related to the relief delivery
    • Ensure the effective management of volunteers in the relief operations
    ORGANIZING, MANAGEMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF DRR TRAININGS AND CAMPAIGN
    • Prepare a specific Disaster Risk Reduction trainings and campaign plans 
    • Ensure proper documentation of the implemented projects and timely create necessary reports
    ORGANIZING, MANAGEMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF REHABILITATION PROJECTS
    • Lead in the assessment, project conceptualization and design for the rehabilitation efforts to be established in the disaster stricken communities.
    • Ensure proper documentation of the implemented projects and timely create necessary reports
    COORDINATION WITH PROJECT PARTNERS
    • Ensure proper coordination with National Agencies, LGUs and NGOs during planning and implementation of relief and rehabilitation projects
     
    MONITORING AND EVALUATION
    • Ensure that projects are implemented within target timetable
    • Ensure that delivery of projects is according to desired output and quality standards
    • Conducts Monitoring & Evaluation based on the tool provided.
     
    PREPARATION OF REPORT
    • Prepare financial reports of assigned projects
    • Submit regular project updates and accomplishment reports

REQUIREMENTS

    • College graduate with a degree in any of the following: Social Work; Community Development; Other Social and Behavioral Sciences
    • At least two years of work experience similar to stated job functions in a development work setting
    • Preferably with experience in Disaster Risk Reduction Management, community organizing, project management, monitoring and evaluation, technical report writing, managing and working with people/organization
    • Developing partnerships
    • Emotional intelligence and resilience abilities
    • Organizing and management skills
