ABS-CBN Film Productions, Inc. or Star Cinema is one of the leading Filipino Film production and distribution outfit. It has produced more than 240 films in various genres that suit the preferences of Filipinos of all ages and background from anywhere in the world.

As of 2015, Star Cinema has captured more than 83% of the theatrical market share.  More than half of its total releases reached and exceeded the P200M mark in the box office with Sisterakas (2012) and It Takes a Man and a Woman (2013) earning more than P400M worldwide.  Girl, Boy Bakla, Tomboy has also reached more than P400M at the box office becoming the highest grossing Filipino movie of all time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

    Position Summary:
    Responsible for the implementation of over-all Advertising and Promotions Campaign of movies/videos of Star Cinema.
     
    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    1. Understand, study and apply market trends and consumer behavior.
    2. Conceptualizes and executes promotion campaign/strategies and slants in accordance with the target/goals set by management.
    3. Facilitates campaign brainstorming and initiates concept development of promotional campaigns/strategies for each project.
    4. Prepares Master Advertising & Promotions Calendar and ensures adherence to approved plans of assigned projects.
    5. Conceptualizes and presents media events, media plans, execution pegs and final output.
    6. Monitors implementation of the entire campaign plan.
    7. Coordinates with Independent Promo Contractors, Publicists, Artist Handlers and suppliers.
    8. Synergizes projects with the rest of the departments of Star Cinema and other LOBs of ABS-CBN and external marketing platforms.
     

REQUIREMENTS

    QUALIFICATIONS
    • Mastery of marketing strategies for all platforms
    • Understanding of different market segments, demographics and psychographics
    • PR and negotiating skills
    • Appreciation of creative narratives, ability to understand character development, story arcs and the like.
    • Ability to manage people as accounts head.
    • Excellent communications skills
