RESPONSIBILITIES

    The APAC Events Marketing Specialist is responsible for implementing Region-led events marketing initiatives, including strategy development, execution, and monitoring of promotional campaigns, media planning, and field sales merchandising roll-out. In addition to these responsibilities, this role provides support for region-level marketing initiatives.  

    The position will design and manage integrated marketing campaigns that incorporate advertising, public relations, sales promotion, and digital and social media marketing to generate awareness and drive conversions for events. They will also lead all community engagement plans and programs targeted at the core market segment, fostering strong relationships and promoting active participation. 

    The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as effective cross-functional coordination abilities. A strong customer focus is essential, with a commitment to understanding and addressing customer needs to ensure a positive experience. The officer must be proactive and independent, taking the initiative in managing projects with minimal supervision while being adept at identifying and solving challenges. Exceptional project management skills are crucial, with a proven track record of flawlessly executing initiatives and plans while maintaining meticulous attention to detail. Given that this position plays a critical role in influencing customer experiences, it requires exceptional interpersonal skills, a dedication to quality, patience, and creativity. 

    STRATEGY 
    • Lead Development: Create integrated marketing and communication strategies for all events in the region aimed at engaging the core audience. Key objectives include: 
      • Building awareness for upcoming events 
      • Increasing ticket sales across all channels and touchpoints 
      • Attracting new attendees and engaging repeat eventgoers 
    • Collaboration: Work closely with APAC Events Head to: 
      • Provide relevant data and insights for conceptualizing events that resonate with the market 
      • Conduct continuous market research on current trends in event planning, on-- ground engagement, and audience needs 
    • Sales Coordination: Collaborate with the sales and distribution team to identify effective touchpoints for reaching the target audience. 
    • Community Partnerships: Engage with community partners for grassroots marketing initiatives, including ticket distribution and street merchandising 

    PLANNING 
    • Market Assessment: Support the APAC Events Head in ongoing assessment, analysis, and reporting on market and customer issues, challenges, and opportunities. 
    • Event Execution Alignment: Ensure that the execution of events aligns with the brand's vision, strategy, and objectives. 
    • Campaign Development: Lead the development of detailed mechanics and implementation plans for regional marketing campaigns and event promotions. This includes: 
      • Tailoring strategies to market needs and preferences 
      •  Creating budgets for each initiative 
    • Promotional Integration: Be responsible for integrating promotional elements into marketing strategies and maximizing communication channels for effective outreach.  

    EXECUTION 
    • Spearhead Campaign Implementation: Oversee the development and production of all campaign materials, ensuring a cohesive integration of marketing communications to promote an Event. 
    • Collaborate with Third-Party Agencies: Coordinate with external agencies for paid media execution as needed. 
    • Drive On-Ground Engagement Activities: Plan and execute initiatives that engage customers and deliver exceptional experiences. 
    • Manage Promotional Campaigns and Media Placements: Coordinate with teams to ensure the design, production, and deployment of all marketing assets across sales touchpoints. 

    ANALYSIS 
    • Track Event Performance: Collaborate with the events team to measure event KPIs and gather insights on engagement both on the ground and online. 
    • Collect Market Intelligence: Analyze product preferences, customer behaviors, competitors, and market opportunities. 

    ADMINISTRATIVE 
    • Prepare Payment Requests and Contracts: Create Requests for Payment (RFPs), RCPs, and contracts for suppliers and partners. 
    • Prepare Broadcast Orders: Develop Broadcast Orders (BO) for TV commercials that need to air on TFC. 
    • Manage Other Administrative Tasks: Support other groups in achieving business objectives through various administrative functions. 

REQUIREMENTS

    • Education/Experience: 
      • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, Business Economics, Communications, Finance or related courses.  
      • Experience within Marketing and/or Sales function, with exposure and good grasp of product/customer management, distribution, project management, business development.

      • Hands-On Event Marketing Experience: Proven experience in executing event marketing campaigns, including on-ground setups and customer engagement strategies.
