Prior to the shutdown of its broadcast operations in 2020, ABS-CBN was the largest television network in the Philippines. As a radio broadcast company, it operated 22 radio stations including anchor radio stations in Mega Manila, DZMM and DWRR, in the AM and FM bands, respectively.
The company delivers television programming outside of the Philippines to over 3 million viewers in North America, the Middle East, Europe, Japan, Australia, Canada, and other countries in Asia, through the internet and the Company’s global distribution platform, TFC, using DTH satellite service, cable television channels, IPTV, mobile applications and video streaming services. Its offerings are further complemented by subsidiaries focused on other multimedia services such as film production, music recording, telecommunications, and magazine and book publishing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
BRAND STRATEGY
- Works with the BCM Manager/ Head to identify the target market of assigned ABS-CBN brands through the analysis of demographics, psychographics, defined media habits, and consumption
- Creates the brand development strategies for the brand
CONTENT MARKETING
- Crafts an integrated communications plan - proper phasing and utilization of multi-media touchpoints (ABS-CBN-owned or otherwise) for the promotion of launching shows
- Cascades IMC strategies to support team for implementation
- Supervises implementation for select tentpole programs (working alongside the assigned ad promo head)
- Assists in content marketing efforts with partner platforms
CORPORATE MARKETING
- Crafts Marketing strategy and IMC
- Supervises implementation of the IMC working with a 360 team of LOB representatives
Perform other tasks assigned by Brand Strategy and Content Marketing Head
REQUIREMENTS
- 2 years of experience in marketing, strategic planning, brand management, and/or advertising/creative agency or related field
- Digital Savvy
- Familiar with 360 marketing
- Has content appreciation
- Strategic and creative at the same time
- Highly analytical and detail-oriented
- Able to handle projects with minimal supervision
- Works well under pressure
- Is able to work independently and within groups
