RESPONSIBILITIES

    POSITION SUMMARY
     
    The position entails preparation of technical studies and comparative analysis on network proposed and upgrade stations, coverage map and frequency studies for engineering and other business units.
     
    Provides technical plans and assistance regarding RF transmission, RNG broadcast plans and designs, Broadcast IT, network connectivity related to microwave, leased line and satellite transmissions.
     
    MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
     
    • Documentation and planning, network transmission design and implementation engineering
    • Provide technical support on transmission link troubleshooting on RNG and DTT operations
    • Project management
    • Conduct site selection survey, signal survey, RFI survey for broadcast transmitters and microwave and satellite transmission
    • Conduct Technical Feasibility Studies and site surveys in collaboration with the Technical Project Management Team
    • Provide Service Reports, Failure Analysis Reports and field reports
    • Prepare technical study, coverage map and TVHHs analysis for DTT existing network and future expansion plans
    • Prepare frequency feasibility studies in compliance with NTC and KBP standards DTT proposed frequencies. Performs technical support during transmitter and antenna integration (SAT Measurement)
    • Analyze customer technology, define business requirements and participate in risk analysis

REQUIREMENTS

    • Candidate must be a licensed Electronics Engineer. CCNA is an advantage
    • Must be experienced in networking and in TCP/IP, Network Topologies and Network protection schemes
    • Must have at least 2 years' experience in Analog and Digital Microwave system and Satellite Transmission Systems
    • Must have at least 3 years' related work experience in broadcasting industry
    • Must be familiar with broadcast and communication facilities and equipment
    • Must be willing to travel
