Prior to the shutdown of its broadcast operations in 2020, ABS-CBN was the largest television network in the Philippines. As a radio broadcast company, it operated 22 radio stations including anchor radio stations in Mega Manila, DZMM and DWRR, in the AM and FM bands, respectively. 
The company delivers television programming outside of the Philippines to over 3 million viewers in North America, the Middle East, Europe, Japan, Australia, Canada, and other countries in Asia, through the internet and the Company’s global distribution platform, TFC, using DTH satellite service, cable television channels, IPTV, mobile applications and video streaming services. Its offerings are further complemented by subsidiaries focused on other multimedia services such as film production, music recording, telecommunications, and magazine and book publishing. 


    The Business Development Officer supports the Head of Business Development in the discovery, pitching, planning, development through external partnerships. This position also supports in operationalizing and managing assigned third party digital platforms, projects, and products that will generate new business/revenues for the Digital Division, and potential digital solutions for ABS-CBN's lines of business.
    • Support the Business Development Team in creating, pitching, and justifying business cases to the Management or potential partners.
    • Work closely with external partners and internal teams from planning to implementation of business development initiatives to provide overall direction and support.
    • Establish, nurture, and maximize internal and external partnerships for the creation of new business, enhance partner value for the group beyond financial gain (i.e. content and talent acquisition, technology transfer, increase in equity or market advantage).
    • Work directly with the support teams to fortify digital strategies and pitches with business sense and market insights.
    • Manage back-end solutions as necessary to extract data insighting for relevant executions
    • Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time, as deemed necessary to the business cases.

    • Understanding of current technology and content trends and an ability to evaluate their relevance for the organization. 
    • Knowledge of digital frameworks relevant to the business objectives. 
    • Great communication skills through presentation and coordination with all stakeholders
    • Able to provide meaningful and actionable insights from platform data and revenue reports.
