Prior to the shutdown of its broadcast operations in 2020, ABS-CBN was the largest television network in the Philippines. As a radio broadcast company, it operated 22 radio stations including anchor radio stations in Mega Manila, DZMM and DWRR, in the AM and FM bands, respectively. 
 
The company delivers television programming outside of the Philippines to over 3 million viewers in North America, the Middle East, Europe, Japan, Australia, Canada, and other countries in Asia, through the internet and the Company’s global distribution platform, TFC, using DTH satellite service, cable television channels, IPTV, mobile applications and video streaming services. Its offerings are further complemented by subsidiaries focused on other multimedia services such as film production, music recording, telecommunications, and magazine and book publishing. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

    The position is responsible for the improvement of the organization’s commercial opportunities and financial growth. This person will work closely with commercial and content heads to develop commercial strategies, define products, and develop materials needed to achieve revenue targets. This role also involves growing and maintaining business accounts, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.

    • Helps develop and implement business strategy for the Company’s expansion and growth in products and distribution, domestic and international.
    • Assists in the forming of business development strategy focused on the Company's financial gain and customer satisfaction.
    • Builds long-term relationships with the Company's existing and new stakeholders.
    • Researches, understands and makes predictive analyses of the market, industry trends, technology, and competition landscape in order to generate and implement new business
    • expansion strategies and plans.
    • Researches new and emerging markets in line with business growth and expansions.
    • Grow and build commercial accounts and maintain relationships with key clients.
    • Meets and presents to potential clients/partners to secure budgets/collaborations
    • Oversees implementation of projects with partners/clients and coordinates details with all internal and external contacts
    • Ensures proper documentation and safekeeping of all business contracts/agreements
    • Meet business development revenue target

     

REQUIREMENTS

    • Proven 3 to 5 years' experience in sales, business devleopment, B2B partnerships and / or PR experience
    • Strong networking capabilities and a proactive approach to relationship building.
    • Demonstrated track record of bringing in sponsors and achieving goals.
    • Familiarity or relationships with PR and / or Advertising Agencies and current trends.
