RESPONSIBILITIES
Position Summary
Manages and curates the programming design and implements the content strategy on ABS-CBN Global’s various platforms and services, monitors the effectiveness of the strategy and design through user behavior and data, and updates the design immediately as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conceptualize Content programming, design, planner and strategies and curate content on the assigned platform
- Real-time preview of materials and maintenance of the programming grid and the content management system (CMS)
- Coordination with the various Operations Groups (i.e. Global Content Operations, DMD, Big Dipper, Engineering) on content delivery
- Collect content (images, metadata, videos) from other units (e.g. Marketing, ABS-CBN, On-Air Promo)
- Renders/resizes and creates images required on the site
- Writes full articles and/or blurbs based on the required volume set by the Content Management Head
- Tests new features, products and services and ensures of its quality before deployment
- Track and monitor data through the tools and reports provided by the Digital team
- Immediately shifts strategies according to monthly performance of the digital product based on data
- Coordinates with counterparts from ABS-CBN Corp and the various LOBs on changes in local programming, for implementation on TFC, if appropriate
- Inform the various stakeholders of ABS-CBN Global on programming changes on any of the platforms/services
- Coordinates with Content Marketing and Content Promo Group on creating communications that will promote content made available on the various platforms
Problem Solving and Decision Making:
- In the absence of the Content Curation and Programming (CCP) Head, the CCP Specialist temporarily takes the role of supervising the group’s output and presenting to the Global Content Mancom status updates of ongoing projects.
- Able to handle any content management account/service/platform as assigned by the Head, and adjust to changes within the organization as needed.

Scope of Management Responsibilities:
- Reports directly to the Content Curation and Programming Head
- Consults the CCP Head regarding implementation of creative strategies on the various platforms and services of TFC, namely cable and satellite, IPTV and ABS-CBN Global’s 3rd party services.
- To deliver timely flow of content to support ongoing multi-platform products and services covering editorial, marketing and commercial angles.
- Content programming for the legacy platforms of TFC and release of the linear programming grid on a regular basis, and content curation for Mobile, IPTV, online platforms which is managed through an online Console accessible at anytime, anywhere.
- Advise on types, quality and volume of content suitable for product launches and subsequent releases.
- Edit and sub-edit bespoke content as required
- Procure and prepare assets (images) and/or copy required for platform support
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications, Advertising or equivalent in relevant work experience.
- 1 year previous work related experience required, particularly on content management and strategy
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office applications, basic knowledge of Adobe applications.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Ability to present and hold a discussion with the various stakeholders and external clients.
- Ability to work in a team fostered environment.
- Ability to work in a multi-tasked environment.
- Ability to prioritize and organize work.
- Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule.
- Agility In implementing changes in the programming design and strategy
