Prior to the shutdown of its broadcast operations in 2020, ABS-CBN was the largest television network in the Philippines. As a radio broadcast company, it operated 22 radio stations including anchor radio stations in Mega Manila, DZMM and DWRR, in the AM and FM bands, respectively. 
 
The company delivers television programming outside of the Philippines to over 3 million viewers in North America, the Middle East, Europe, Japan, Australia, Canada, and other countries in Asia, through the internet and the Company’s global distribution platform, TFC, using DTH satellite service, cable television channels, IPTV, mobile applications and video streaming services. Its offerings are further complemented by subsidiaries focused on other multimedia services such as film production, music recording, telecommunications, and magazine and book publishing. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

    The Content Management Specialist shall support the implementation of the overall content strategy and operations of the OTT platform. He/she shall facilitate and implement the strategies and programming laid down by the Content Operations and Content Programming leads while working closely with the platform’s stakeholders to ensure that platform and content operations requirements are delivered based on agreements and in a timely manner.
     
    CONTENT MANAGEMENT
    • Orchestrate the accurate and timely implementation of content strategies as directed by Content Programming and Content Operations leads.
    • Conceptualize and recommend content-related features and offerings that will enhance user experience and improve product performance of the platform.
    • Participate in all content-related alignment meetings as determined
    • Maintains regular correspondence with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Participates in the conceptualization and execution of campaign strategies
    • Actively participates in brainstorming sessions

    OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY
    • Maintain an agile mindset for the management of the platform.
    • Maximize company resources to assure cost and operational efficiency.
    • Provide the necessary requests and alignment from the different content stakeholders to ensure content visibility and playability on the platform.
    • Collaborates with the team in publishing and curating the content on the platform.

REQUIREMENTS

    • Graduate of any four-year course, preferably Advertising or Mass Communication, Visual Communications, Advertising or similar degree
    • Has an appreciation of content produced by the ABS-CBN Corporation, and other content providers.
    • Previous experience in content creation, management or operations will be an advantage.
    • Must have excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
    • Knowledge on digital trends and technology
    • Knowledge on data analysis, preferred
    • Knowledge on digital content curation and acquisition, preferred
