AFPI’s slate is produced by its two homegrown brands – Star Cinema and Black Sheep.
AFPI has established itself as a reliable partner for advertisers and external production companies and has successfully ventured into content distribution (traditional and digital platforms). AFPI has recently expanded its business portfolio to include talent development and management of stars and influencers via Rise Artists Studio and Rise iHub.
RESPONSIBILITIES
JOB SUMMARY
The Content Sales and Partnership Account Executive is responsible for developing, crafting and creating
branded sales sponsorship and partnership opportunities for the company through its offerings, products
and services including promotional or advertising services. The role covers sales to clients and advertisers
ensuring that targets are achieved as part of the commitment to the overall Company budget. It also
provides support to Corporate Sales in terms of customizing pitches to achieve sales for the LOB.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
SERVICING SALES SOLUTIONS TO DIRECT ACCOUNTS/CLIENTS
- Read Scripts and aligns with related Departments in Identifying sponsorship opportunities for the brand and projects of the LOB.
- Brainstorms and presents new ideas and offers to assigned existing and potential clients as aligned with the sales offerings of the company.
- Creates presentations to clients, partners with the intent to close deals and sales for the Company. Adheres to the BEU guidelines in selling. Clears with CSP Head for approval before sharing.
- Negotiates and closes deals with clients to achieve sales targets and quota. Handled contract preparation to execution.
- Ensures that deliverables are met with proper completion reports.
- Ensures timely payments from clients.
- Handles cash, non-cash or a combination of any type of transaction) as cleared with BEU Head. Non cash transactions are based on company need only. Coordinates non-cash and ex-deal requirements with Production representatives. Including the turnover of ex-deal items to the proper department and documentation.
- Branded intrusions or activations in a project should be within the parameters set and agreed with management, creatives and production. No contract , no work/advance execution implementation; no pre-prod – no shoot.
- Manages the budget for branded intrusions, activations and movie/content integrations from preparation to approval of management and the client. Details for approval of CSP Head.
- Ensures that the agreed deal terms and activations are carried out by the Company, to the satisfaction of the client, while remaining aligned with the agreed objectives of the LOB’s offerings, projects and releases.
- Commits to clients based on agreed parameters and secures the approval of management, following the escalation matrix for any deals, ad sales and sponsorship terms and costs.
- Provides management and department representatives with a copy of the final and fully signed agreement as needed and ensures efficient filling and safekeeping of documents/ materials.
- Ensures that all documentation, agreements, deal memos, contracts, etc. are complete and fully signed internally, following the Company’s approval matrix. Submits the necessary reports and documentation and ensures timely billing and payment to clients.
SERVICING SALES SOLUTIONS WITH INTEGRATED SALES
- Provides support and assistance to Head, Content Sales and Partnerships as he/she collaborates with Integrated Sales in creating customized decks as necessary for pitching to clients of Integrated Sales and depending on the load of the CSP Head.
- Build and maintain good relationships with our customers and internal and external stakeholders and attends sales strategy & cluster meetings, as may be requested.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
- Acts as overall project lead for execution of sales deals.
- Coordinates strategically and timely with AFPI PSG for the execution as agreed with the clients and Production requirements.
- Prepares project briefs and identifies specific requirements and timelines for the implementation of approved deals in the projects.
- Prepares project completion reports for submission to clients and for internal records.
- Ensures completeness of project files.
- Coordinates Sales requirements and executions with Ad Prom, Digital, and other departments to ensure completion of commitment to clients.
REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Management, or any related course
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Able to come up with creative ideas to present to clients
- Has skills on concept and brand campaign decking, client presentation, and customer service role acumen
- Experience in sales and marketing is an advantage
- Willing to do field work and set client meetings
