ABS-CBN Film Productions, Inc. or Star Cinema is one of the leading Filipino Film production and distribution outfit. It has produced more than 240 films in various genres that suit the preferences of Filipinos of all ages and background from anywhere in the world.

    1. Responsible for the research and evaluation of literary materials possible for acquisition
    2. Seeks out, identifies and processes materials (i.e. real life experience of people, books, newspaper/magazine articles, featured real life stories on television) that can be developed into story concepts.
    3. Prepares research plan based on the objectives of the research
    4. Obtains data and reference materials through direct interviews, investigation, environmental scanning, immersion or scholarly research method (e.g. surveys, focus group discussions, library research)
    5. Prepares and submits research findings within deadline through verbal or written reports as per requirement
    6. Evaluates and submits comments and recommendations on merits and feasibility of unsolicited materials
    7. Responsible for the banking of approved concepts and materials


    • Graduate of any 4-year course
    • With or without relevant experience
    • Excellent in oral and written communication (both in English and Filipino)
    • Dedicated to pursuing a career in film
    • Interested in filmmaking, literature and story research
