Prior to the shutdown of its broadcast operations in 2020, ABS-CBN was the largest television network in the Philippines. As a radio broadcast company, it operated 22 radio stations including anchor radio stations in Mega Manila, DZMM and DWRR, in the AM and FM bands, respectively. 
 
The company delivers television programming outside of the Philippines to over 3 million viewers in North America, the Middle East, Europe, Japan, Australia, Canada, and other countries in Asia, through the internet and the Company’s global distribution platform, TFC, using DTH satellite service, cable television channels, IPTV, mobile applications and video streaming services. Its offerings are further complemented by subsidiaries focused on other multimedia services such as film production, music recording, telecommunications, and magazine and book publishing. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

    POSITION SUMMARY
     
    ABS-CBN’s digital business has been rapidly growing and it is key that crucial talents are in place to keep this momentum going. One of the departments in the Digital division, “Digital Revenue” – aims to have a total view of all the revenue streams of ABS-CBN on digital, it also has a strategic and holistic view of how each revenue stream grows, spots opportunities for growth, influences go-to-market ideas for advertisers, looks at trends for ABS-CBN’s subscription and advertising revenues, and has the business acumen to formulate business models to ensure that the company is earning its maximum revenue potential. 
     
    Part of the oversight of the Digital Revenue org is a product called the ABS-CBN Digital Advertising Self-serve Hub or DASH for short. This allows advertisers to place their digital ads on ABS-CBN’s web and app properties via an easy-to-use self-serve platform which was launched Dec 2020 with the aim of growing the long-tail and eventually, large advertiser business of ABS-CBN. 
     
    MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    1. Leads all DASH - marketing-related activities (from strategy down to execution; For eg: go-to-market pitch decks, marketing collaterals/e-flyers)
    2. May also forge and execute partnership agreements with key organizations to acquire users for DASH 
    3. Acts as Revenue and partnerships support for DASH
    4. Aligns with internal ABS-CBN divisions or lines of businesses/teams on DASH marketing related initiatives and implementation 
    5. Helps cull relevant data / reports on DASH
    6. Handles the day-to-day operations support for DASH working with relevant teams from Ad Operations, Digital Consumer Tech, 3rd party partners, etc.   
    7. Creative support for Digital Marketing Creatives team for advertiser go-to-market efforts (and potentially, branded campaigns)
    8. Support for business ventures of ABS-CBN digital, an example of this but not limited to, is the collaboration with digital and creative agencies for creative marketing solutions for advertisers, and other relevant partnerships for ABS-CBN’s owned and operated digital properties 
    9. May also potentially handle projects or initiatives with the nature of earning revenues for the Digital division of ABS-CBN 

REQUIREMENTS

    • At least 3 years of work experience related to the role
    • Experience working in a digital media / ad agency, digital marketing / digital product marketing is a plus  
    • Ability to do creative lay-outs, art and copy-related skills (showcasing portfolio of previous work is a big plus) 
    • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, or any lay-out software available
    • Video editing skill is a plus 
    • Proficient in MS Powerpoint, Keynote, Google Slides, MS Excel / Google Sheets, MS Word, and any equivalent software 
    • Excellent communication skills, with knowledge on how to utilize multiple media touchpoints
    • Empathetic and servant leader that can steer projects and manage people effectively and efficiently
