RESPONSIBILITIES

    Lead the day-to-day operations of our editorial content team and drive the content strategy for MYX Global. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a passion for storytelling, a keen understanding of Filipino and Asian global youth cultures, and a strong commitment to amplifying underrepresented voices within the music and entertainment industry.

    Responsibilities:
    • Lead and oversee all editorial operations, including content creation, curation, and publication across multiple platforms (website, social media, video, etc.).
    • Help develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with MYX Global's mission and values.
    • Help develop and execute a forward-thinking digital editorial strategy that reflects MYX Global's digital first mindset
    • Manage a team of editors, writers, and content creators, providing guidance, feedback, and mentorship to ensure high-quality, engaging content.
    • Collaborate with other departments (marketing, production, partnerships, etc.) to integrate editorial content into broader initiatives and campaigns.
    • Design and implement measurement systems (KPIs) that actively measure, manage, optimize and communicate the performance of the content
    • Stay informed about industry trends, audience preferences, and cultural developments to continuously innovate and evolve MYX Global's content offerings.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with freelance contributors, artists, influencers, and other external partners to expand the reach and impact of MYX Global's content.

REQUIREMENTS

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or related field
    • Proven experience in a senior editorial role, with a track record of successfully managing teams and executing content strategies.
    • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail, storytelling, and audience engagement.
    • Deep understanding of digital media platforms, content distribution channels, and audience behaviors, with proficiency in SEO and analytics tools.
    • Product fluency across various social media platforms Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.
    • Strong leadership abilities, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of creative professionals.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.
    • Passion for diversity, inclusion, and multiculturalism, with a commitment to representing diverse voices and perspectives in all content.
