RESPONSIBILITIES

    POSITION SUMMARY
    The Full Stack Developer takes the lead in the development and/or implementation of applications utilizing his technical design and programming expertise.  He will be responsible on solution-level decisions and analysis of their impact on the overall business goals and outcomes. He will work closely with the DCIT Head, Digital Architect, Business Analyst and/or Account/Project Manager to convert business requirements into working systems/applications.
     
    MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
    • Build products and solutions
    • Define coding standards and best practices
    • Code reviews and analysis of technology environment
    • Builds and manage project assets repo (codes and reusable library)
    • Conducts brownbag sessions for Knowledge Transfer
    • Reviews existing properties and provides roadmap to improve usability, scalability and efficiency that adheres to the defined coding standards and best practices
    • Data analysis to improve platform and technology performance
    • Builds onboarding training curriculum
    • Responsible for the end to end execution of the defined and agreed solution
    • Provides leadership and coaching to junior members and development team
    • Setup and manage DEV and performance tools

REQUIREMENTS

    • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s degree/College degree in engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
    • 2 years solid experience in Node JS, Javascript (HTML5, PWA or Angular)
    • At least 1 year experience working on an Agile development environment.
    • Experience in Development Operations environment is an advantage.
    • At least 5 years of working experience in doing methods and time/motion study techniques, process improvements, cost-benefits analysis and project management
    • Proven problem solving-skills and ability to successfully adapt to changes based on business requirements.
    • Must be conversant with systems development life cycle principles
    • Proven history of generating innovative and effective solutions
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Able to explain complex technical topics in a manner that can be easily understood
    • Possess the ability to work well under pressure and the ability to seek and synthesize information and communicate in a compelling and succinct form
    • Must demonstrate attention to detail in addition to strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work independently, produce quality work and execute and implement projects and deliverables in tight time constraints
    • Outstanding interpersonal skills including diplomacy and ability to work with all levels of staff and leadership
