ABS-CBN Shared Service Center Pte. Ltd. (SSC) is a captive service provider for ABS-CBN Corporation and its local, regional and global subsidiaries. The parent company of SSC is ABS-CBN Corporation.

SSC is primarily engaged in providing support services for Finance and Accounting, IT, HR, and Order Management and Fulfillment. The service center is a foreign company duly organized and incorporated under the laws of Singapore with a branch located at Eugenio Lopez Jr. Communications Center (ELJCC), Eugenio Lopez Drive, Quezon City.

The facility at ELJCC has about 300 employees and has been operational since September 1, 2009. The company is expected to significantly increase its headcount over the next five years with the impending service expansion.

SSC is mainly interested in sharing best practices at IBPAP given the company's unique background in the Broadcasting Industry. The company is looking forward to get in touch with other shared service organizations to benchmark on processes, systems and service expansion strategies. The center is on its journey from a developing organization to a mature captive shared services catering not only to ABS-CBN companies but also to its affiliates in the Lopez Conglomerate.


    The Senior Service Owner (Team Lead), General Ledger will be responsible of the general ledger management of assigned entities in the Group. He/She  is responsible in supervising a team composed of Service Owners.  He/She shall report directly to the Service Delivery Manager, General Ledger and shall assist him/her in carrying out the services of the GL Team.

    Job Description:
    1. Supervise a team responsible for delivering the general ledger operations of assigned entities.  The team is in-charge of transactional postings; account reconciliations and analysis (SL-GL Reconciliations); month-end, quarterly and year-end closing and reporting and; intercompany accounting.
    2. Consolidate financial statements, and other accounting schedules and reports including supporting notes to the audited financial statements and other filings.
    3. Assist the Service Delivery Manager in facilitating balance sheet reviews and assists clients in carrying out projects to maintain quality and integrity of their books.
    4. Provide assistance to internal and external auditors during the conduct of their engagement.
    5. People Management, does performance assessments, coaching sessions and work plan discussions with direct reports; provides guidance on prioritization and work load management, serves as escalation for issues and responsible for driving timely resolution and creation of next steps to avoid future reoccurrence.
    6. Work closely with, Service Delivery Manager, Client, Finance and Operations team to ensure completeness and integrity of financial information.
    7. Assist Service Delivery Manager in drafting Technical/Process memos or guidelines.


    • CPA
    • At least 3 years of relevant work experience in the areas of External/Internal Audit, General Accounting or GL Management 
    • At least 1 years supervisory experience. With background in managing multiple projects/engagements.
    • Preferably with Shared Service Center working experience.
    • Knowledgeable of SAP and Microsoft Office
    • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership / management.
    • Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and effectively handle changing requirements and priorities.
    • Proven organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Good presentation skills.
    • Experience in supporting cross-functional teams. A team player and collaborator, translating prior knowledge and experience into strong and productive relationships.
    • Amenable to work on extended hours.
