Prior to the shutdown of its broadcast operations in 2020, ABS-CBN was the largest television network in the Philippines. As a radio broadcast company, it operated 22 radio stations including anchor radio stations in Mega Manila, DZMM and DWRR, in the AM and FM bands, respectively. 
 
The company delivers television programming outside of the Philippines to over 3 million viewers in North America, the Middle East, Europe, Japan, Australia, Canada, and other countries in Asia, through the internet and the Company’s global distribution platform, TFC, using DTH satellite service, cable television channels, IPTV, mobile applications and video streaming services. Its offerings are further complemented by subsidiaries focused on other multimedia services such as film production, music recording, telecommunications, and magazine and book publishing. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

    The Head of Digital Marketing for Client Solutions and Digital Platform Strategy has a portfolio view of ABS-CBN’s digital products for revenue generation and user-based outcomes (ie acqui, retention, engagement, et. Al) and how each ABS-CBN product plays a role in the over-all revenue performance of the company. 
     
    This person oversees the formulation and direction-setting of strategic and effective go-to-market advertiser strategies and how these strategies and tactics would positively impact ABS-CBN’s revenue and also potentially, find and grow incremental revenue streams borne out of these partnerships - contributing to the over-all sales conversions and digital revenues of the company. 
     
    This person is also able to successfully lead initiatives (e.g. learning sessions, optimize current positioning of a product etc) to ensure that there is a strategic and data driven approach in marketing our digital products, along with acting as a key support and resource for branded campaigns most especially in putting together the relevant products that would be offered to the advertisers.
     
    In relation to the digital marketing strategy function, this person puts together an effective marketing strategy of our key ABS-CBN platforms with the objective of: user and subscriber acquisition, user engagement, user retention and churn reduction. This will serve as the blueprint that the various platform marketing teams will follow factoring in these outcomes. 
     
    • Acts as key partner of Digital Sales, Digital Platform Experts, Platform Marketing Heads to ensure that the go-to-market initiatives of ABS-CBN’s digital products and digital strategy are sound with a user engagement and revenue generating lens.
    • May also create campaign solutions of ABS-CBN advertisers in collaboration with the team’s Digital Sales counterparts. 
    • Ensures delivery of quality output from ABS-CBN Digital collaborations with clients and other relevant cross-functional teams. 
    • Influences process creation for smooth and efficient planning, implementation and performance reporting of Clients digital campaigns, working closely with the Digital Sales AEs, Ad Ops and Digital Implem team
    • Creation of campaign KPIs and templates for day-to-day reports and standard customized post-campaign reports. 
    • Influences the creation of new products on digital based on market need. 
    • Keeps up-to-date on digital marketing trends and developments and ensures to glean learnings from these trends and applies and even cascades these learnings to relevant members of the organization. 
    • May act as the face of ABS-CBN for Industry / Marketing talks and panel discussions.

REQUIREMENTS

    • 5-7 years’ experience in leading a digital marketing communications team in a digital advertising agency, digital company, FMCG, or consumer services company
    • Experience working on brand management and digital marketing campaigns for internal and/or external clients
    • Has creative and strategic skills
    • Excellent communication skills, with knowledge on how to utilize multiple media touchpoints (MS Powerpoint, Google Slides, et al)
    • Excellent project management skills – ability to steer projects and manage people
    • Strong understanding of ROI-oriented integrated marketing and advertising model
    • Basic/Advanced MS Excel, Photoshop, Canva skills are a plus
    • Sales experience - a plus
    • Ad Operations experience – a plus
    • Humble, Empathetic and Servant Leadership qualities are a non-negotiable
