These are in child care and protection, education, environment, disaster management and community development. It is the public service arm of ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corporation, one of Asia's biggest media conglomerates. It draws on the relationship to tap into the creativity and reach of media for its various programs.

    1. Receive and attend to the immediate needs of children upon admission to the CV (i.e. clean clothing, bath, food, etc.).
    2. Provide direct daily care and supervision to children in the assigned cottage:
    1. Feeding, bathing/washing and night time care of infants/toddlers
    2. Meal supervision
    3. Study hour supervision/tutoring in the case of school children
    4. Implement the care regimen prescribed for each child
    5. Performing daily cottage activities
    1. Carry out physical and psychological prescriptions for each child as guided by the Nurse, the Social Worker and/ or the Supervising Social Worker; and ensure the proper dosage and timely intake of medicines and vitamins by the child
    2. Facilitate educational activities such as reading, writing and participation in extracurricular activities in a bid to develop the client’s interest as part of learning process
    3. Maintain discipline among the children under her care in terms of:
    1. Practice of good table manners, proper hygiene, healthy eating and proper study habits
    2. Observance of policies and procedures of the CV
    3. Administration/recommendation of disciplinary action if necessary
    1. Create and implement agreed interventions for the concerned children
    2. Prepare reports on the progress/behavior of the individual child through accomplishment of:
    1. Child's individual journal (includes behavioral and progress report)
    2. Incident report
    3. Medication chart
    1. Prepares Accomplishment report, including administrative report
    2. Conduct evaluation of programs and activities along homelife service as part of the rehabilitation plan
    3. Conduct routine inspections in the assigned cottage and ensures maintenance and general upkeep, inside and its immediate surroundings.
    4. Undertake general household duties, including cleaning and laundry, in order to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the cottage and its immediate surroundings
    5. Prepare and submit requisition slip for the requirements of the children and the cottage.
    6. Receive and manage the resources allocated to the cottage to ensure proper and efficient consumption


    • At least Graduate of Midwifery/Practical Nursing or Relevant Courses
    • At least two (2) years experience in child care, preferably with at least eight (8) hours training along housekeeping and caregiving
