BUSINESS SUMMARY
ABS-CBN Shared Service Center Pte. Ltd. (SSC) is a captive service provider for ABS-CBN Corporation and its local, regional and global subsidiaries. The parent company of SSC is ABS-CBN Corporation.
SSC is primarily engaged in providing support services for Finance and Accounting, IT, HR, and Order Management and Fulfillment. The service center is a foreign company duly organized and incorporated under the laws of Singapore with a branch located at Eugenio Lopez Jr. Communications Center (ELJCC), Eugenio Lopez Drive, Quezon City.
The facility at ELJCC has about 300 employees and has been operational since September 1, 2009. The company is expected to significantly increase its headcount over the next five years with the impending service expansion.
SSC is mainly interested in sharing best practices at IBPAP given the company's unique background in the Broadcasting Industry. The company is looking forward to get in touch with other shared service organizations to benchmark on processes, systems and service expansion strategies. The center is on its journey from a developing organization to a mature captive shared services catering not only to ABS-CBN companies but also to its affiliates in the Lopez Conglomerate.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible in effective implementation and deployment of various HR-related initiatives based on agreed action plans and timeline
- Collaborate closely with the management team to ensure implementation of strategies and initiatives are aligned with the company’s business objectives
- Ensure HR initiatives and programs will improve the overall employee experience and wellness
- Evaluate the HR initiatives implemented and provide significant feedback to the management team
- Serve as the business partner to various levels, and provide service and advice in assessing the needs of accounts handled
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to the line management such as coaching, counseling, performance reviews, career development and disciplinary action
- Evaluate client requests and ensure validity and accuracy before finalizing any endorsements and recommendations to the management
- Assist in managing harmonious relationships between the management and employees through active involvement in employee programs and communication
- Support other roles within the Human Resources Team as required with other projects and operational concerns
- Recruit high potential talents by doing in-depth sourcing through various recruitment platforms and assessing them through skills and behavioral interviews
REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Graduate of Psychology, Behavioral Science, or Human Resources Management.
- At least 3-year work experience in related field.
- Knowledgeable in targeted interview and Business Partnering with Business Unit
- Proficient in Office 365 applications
- Keen attention to details, organizational skills and analytical skills.
- Excellent in written and verbal communication skills.
