BUSINESS SUMMARY
Sky Cable Corporation (or simply SkyCable or Sky) is a Filipino cable telecommunications company and the country's largest cable television provider. The company operates in Mega Manila and provincially through its various subsidiaries. The company is a subsidiary of the Filipino media conglomerate ABS-CBN Corporation and is based in Pasig City.
It was founded in 6 June 1990 as Central CATV, Inc. by Benpres Holdings Corporation (now Lopez Holdings Corporation). Today it has expanded to offer digital cable, broadband internet, and VoIP to its over half a million subscribers in Mega Manila.
On 6 June 1990, Sky Cable Corporation was incorporated as Central CATV, Inc. On 25 March 1991, Sky Vision Corporation, a holding company incorporated with the primary purpose of buying and owning stocks of Central CATV, Inc. was founded.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The IT Business Analyst will work closely with the Transformation Program team, collaborating with the different business unit heads and users in identifying, analyzing, recommending and processing various requirements and service solutions using industry leading framework and methodologies
Responsibilities:
- Do information gathering and documentation of the high level business process to define and communicate technical level requirements
- Handle day to day coordination for the follow-up of project-related requirements and deliverables.
- Provide updates to the business and the program team on the status and progress
- Process new business requirements and understand impact to the program
- Leverage IT, analytical and problem-solving skills to create real-world technical solutions for the business need
- Program Deliverables include but not limited to:
- Communicate, translate, and simplify business requirements to ensure buy-in from all stakeholders Lead meetings with business to facilitate solicitation of requirements
- Discover, organize, and clarify business needs and review/produce specifications
- Prepares documentation, process flows, swim lane diagrams, etc
- Assess change requests and proposals and assist in definition of solutions to help the program achieve its goals
- Enable the business in adhering to the requirements and deliverables of the program based on SAFe methodology and principles
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Business / Systems Analysis or Quality Assurance A degree in IT / Computer Science
- Proven 3 years experience in bringing about system requirements and simulating use case scenario based on them
- Experience in analyzing data and processes to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools
- Knowledgeable in generating process documentation using best practices and industry-leading framework and methodology
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills
- Can manage projects and tasks independently
- Possesses strong analytical, problem solving and facilitation skills.
