RESPONSIBILITIES

    POSITION SUMMARY
     
    Supports the IT Services Management Head by contributing to the role of Quality Champion in defining and implementing IT processes, procedures and standards, and in communicating and measuring them across all Global IT units. S/He is responsible for the high quality delivery of all IT services by designing and implementing the Global IT Governance and IT Performance Management Framework.

    S/He assists in the technical design and delivery of Global’s decision support systems in support of Corporate Performance Management. S/He collaborates with the corporate IT team for the delivery and support of converged solutions. S/He will also perform account management and provide the information requirements and system needs of the Global Functions that are based in Manila. S/He supports the day-to-day systems applications running on the ground and provides inputs to planning, budgeting and managing the IT infrastructure systems in Global Manila.

    MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
     
    ICT Management and Governance
    • Account Management (Global functions based in Manila)
    • IT Performance Management
    • IT Policy and Process Development Management
    • Information Systems Audit
    • Planning, Budgeting and Status Reporting
    Automation and Process Streamlining
    • Lead projects and deliver change requests assigned by the IT Services Management Head
    • Gather the required inputs during the Pre-project Initiation and Project Initiation stages of any solutions delivery project
    • Work closely with Global IT in the development of training materials and in the actual conduct of user training for new systems implementation projects
    • Lead and conduct regression testing when there are enhancements to any existing system or during new software releases
    Organization and Optimization of Knowledge Assets
    • Provide input to the technical architecture for Global’s Decision Support system based on Global Strategic Planning’s Corporate Performance Management framework
    • Provide input to the design and lead or assist in the implementation of decision support systems
    • Work with different groups for the development and operational support for Global’s data warehousing and information/report requirements
    • Participate in the evaluation of tools and in defining the policies and procedures governing decision support system
    Network Infrastructure, Access and Security

REQUIREMENTS

    • Graduate of BS degree, preferably in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or other related field
    • 3-5 years' work experience or combined exposure as Systems Analyst, Process Analyst, Project Analyst, Project Implementation member / or co-lead or has performed systems evaluation and business process design-related tasks
    • 1-2 years' work experience in broadcasting or related industries a plus
    • Displays planning, leading, organizing, controlling and decision-making abilities
    • Working knowledge in IT infrastructure systems, computer systems, operating systems, databases, software applications and computer networking
    • Extensive knowledge on general business processes, industry practices and standards, operational and management reporting standards
    • Knowledge on process design, controls and audit procedures
    • Knowledge on systems development and implementation methodology and IT processes
    • Knowledge on risk identification
    • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to details
    • Ability to assess, select, negotiate and manage third-party service providers
