RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Measure and take-off quantities, prepares cost estimates.
    • Assist in the preparation of tender and contract documents.
    • Prepares BOQs - estimates of materials and labor cost for civil, structural, electrical, mechanical and architectural elements of the set design.
    • Evaluates technical and commercial proposals.
    • Conducts value engineering activity and make cost-effective solutions and proposals if needed.
    • Evaluation and preparation of reports on set/location damages.
    • Evaluation of contractor’s additional claims, evaluation of contractor’s billing, preparation of Interim Certificate and Endorsement for Payment.
    • Validation of invoices (constructed related material purchases only).
    • Conducts Post Evaluation to ensure that all materials used and work performed are in accordance with the specifications.
    • All other QS related job not limited to liaison with contractors/suppliers, measurement of quantities, analysis and cost comparison.

REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent in relevant work experience.
    • Preferably, possess a Professional License or equivalent.
    • At least 3-5 years of working experience in Quantity Surveying and Cost Estimating field/industry.
    • Preferably, with work related experience in this field.
    • Must be well versed in Microsoft office applications.
    • Good in oral and written communication skills.
    • Strong analytical skills and details oriented.
    • Strong estimating, evaluation and negotiation skills.
    • Strong interpersonal relation and work ethics.
    • Strong ability to multitask, prioritize and work well under pressure to meet established deadlines.
