Prior to the shutdown of its broadcast operations in 2020, ABS-CBN was the largest television network in the Philippines. As a radio broadcast company, it operated 22 radio stations including anchor radio stations in Mega Manila, DZMM and DWRR, in the AM and FM bands, respectively.
The company delivers television programming outside of the Philippines to over 3 million viewers in North America, the Middle East, Europe, Japan, Australia, Canada, and other countries in Asia, through the internet and the Company’s global distribution platform, TFC, using DTH satellite service, cable television channels, IPTV, mobile applications and video streaming services. RESPONSIBILITIES
The Junior Content Protection and Information Security Analyst provides CIS Entry Level support and execution of Content Protection Operations and Security Operation Center (SOC). His talent and expertise will be in the execution of the following areas - but not limited to: Monitoring and Detection of Cyber Attacks & Content Infringement, Response and Containment to Cyber Attacks and Content Infringements.
He or she tracks and monitors alerts and incidents escalated from various contact points and detection tools. Performs L1 analysis of the incidents and executes blocking, takedown and containment procedures. Escalates high and critical incidents to senior analysts and leads to perform deep dive incident root-cause analysis, containment and recovery measures.
He or she will also be assisting in Governance Risk and Compliance functions and Offensive Security roles to ensure security posture and compliance of the organization.
CYBER SECURITY
Security Operations
- Performs daily security operations, including monitoring and responding to security events.
- Helps in checking proper configuration and management of security tools (e.g. endpoint security, network and cloud security technologies).
Incident Response
- Coordinate response efforts during security incidents.
- Help maintain and update incident response plan/ Playbook.
Other Information Security Functions that may be assigned from time to time
- Review and update Infosec policies, standards, guideline and procedures
- Help in the conduct of security awareness programs
- Security technology assessment and implementations
- Generates Operational Reports and Data analysis for process improvements
CONTENT PROTECTION
Content Infringement Monitoring Detection
- Tracks and monitor piracy alerts from various reporting vectors and technology tools
- Search for potential pirated websites and information about the website.
- Monitors, reviews and enforces Anti-Piracy action to the detected videos on social media platforms digital right manager (ex: Facebook and Facebook Rights Manager.)
- Join suspected pirated social media Groups/Pages for potential piracy detection.
Content Protection Enforcement
- Send DMCA notices and claim all infringing contents found on Social Networking and Video Hosting Sites.
- Whitelisting of ABS-CBN Official Websites and Social Media.
- Upload Pirated Versions as Reference File on Content Delivery Platforms (ex: YouTube Content I.D. System and Facebook Rights Manager) and other DRMs for fingerprinting
- Data/Evidence gathering and Requisition for takedown blocking and removal of pirated contents across multiple platforms/ISPs/Web Hosting/DNS Providers/Search Engines
- Ensure that appropriate controls are in place before the release of official contents.
- Escalates critical incidents to legal and content owners for appropriate legal action if necessary.
- Other Information Security Functions that may be assigned from time to time
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant area of study with a preference for Information Security, Computer Science, ECE or Computer Engineering, Audit or Accounting Discipline.
- Internet, Digital and Content Savvy
- Willing to learn and to be trained in Information Security and Content Protection
- Willing to work on 24 x 7 x 365 shift rotation
- Open to fresh graduates
