ABS-CBN is considered one of the country’s leading media and entertainment companies, with service offerings across the different platforms of media, servicing a wide array of customer segments.

Prior to the shutdown of its broadcast operations in 2020, ABS-CBN was the largest television network in the Philippines. As a radio broadcast company, it operated 22 radio stations including anchor radio stations in Mega Manila, DZMM and DWRR, in the AM and FM bands, respectively. 
 
The company delivers television programming outside of the Philippines to over 3 million viewers in North America, the Middle East, Europe, Japan, Australia, Canada, and other countries in Asia, through the internet and the Company’s global distribution platform, TFC, using DTH satellite service, cable television channels, IPTV, mobile applications and video streaming services. Its offerings are further complemented by subsidiaries focused on other multimedia services such as film production, music recording, telecommunications, and magazine and book publishing. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

     
    ABS-CBN’s digital business has been rapidly growing and it is key that crucial talents are in place to keep this momentum going. One of the departments in the Digital division, “Digital Revenue” – aims to have a total view of all the revenue streams of ABS-CBN on digital, it also has a strategic and holistic view of how each revenue stream grows, spots opportunities for growth, influences go-to-market ideas for advertisers, looks at trends for ABS-CBN’s subscription and advertising revenues, and has the business acumen to formulate business models to ensure that the company is earning its maximum revenue potential.
     
    • Has a portfolio view and business data governance of ABS-CBN’s revenue streams on digital and works with the various stakeholders and product owners to create high-level strategies and tactics that’s reviewed monthly for revenue opportunities based on what works, what doesn’t and what’s needed that would greatly impact over-all digital revenue. These strategies would influence the way ABS-CBN productizes its offerings and how to position these offerings to the market – may it be for an advertiser or a customer.
    • Puts together a single-source of truth for ABS-CBN’s digital revenues (monitoring, tracking growth, etc), including new business opportunities from 3rd parties, and provides strategic insights and opportunities for growth and follows through on these actions working with various cross-functional teams; This means working also with finance, product, ad ops, sales and any necessary stakeholder.
    • Puts together sound and strategic revenue analysis charts/reports and formulates business models and pricing strategies (when applicable) with the objective of ABS-CBN gaining the highest revenue potential
    • Would also potentially handle and lead new digital-led initiatives that are revenue-generating.
    • Would also potentially handle go-to-market initiatives based on revenue opportunities identified

REQUIREMENTS

    • 3-4 years minimum experience in digital, particularly with focus on account management, data, analytics and media planning and buying in a digital agency/digital org.
    • Experience working as accounts in an ad agency / project management / finance / tech / ad operations / sales is a plus
    • Has creative and strategic skills
    • Required to have advanced MS Excel / Google sheets skills
    • Excellent communication skills, with knowledge on how to utilize multiple media touchpoints
    • Notable empathetic and servant leadership, can steer projects and manage people effectively and efficiently
    • Strong understanding of ROI-oriented digital revenue models for advertising and consumer
