Prior to the shutdown of its broadcast operations in 2020, ABS-CBN was the largest television network in the Philippines. As a radio broadcast company, it operated 22 radio stations including anchor radio stations in Mega Manila, DZMM and DWRR, in the AM and FM bands, respectively.
The company delivers television programming outside of the Philippines to over 3 million viewers in North America, the Middle East, Europe, Japan, Australia, Canada, and other countries in Asia, through the internet and the Company’s global distribution platform, TFC, using DTH satellite service, cable television channels, IPTV, mobile applications and video streaming services. Its offerings are further complemented by subsidiaries focused on other multimedia services such as film production, music recording, telecommunications, and magazine and book publishing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
A Marketing Manager with iWantTFC is responsible for planning and developing strategies, implementing, and managing digital and offline activations for the platform to benefit the long-term value of the brand. He/She creates campaigns that drive conversations, resonate with target audiences, and bring users to iWantTFC and sustains continued usage.
- Planning, developing and leading campaigns to drive brand awareness as well as build a fan base for the platform
- Driving user growth through acquisition campaigns
- Reducing churn through retention campaigns
- Positioning iWantTFC Originals and making them relevant
- Positioning iWantTFC as the platform with most ABS-CBN content
- Leading creative media planning that is impactful
- Planning, organizing, executing program launches
- Working on campaigns that increase relevance of titles and thematic curation on the platform
- Creating unique/disruptive campaigns that drive buzz and may be viral
- Working with cross-functional teams to put up integrated marketing campaigns
- Defining KPIs and key results areas for campaigns
- Monitoring campaigns and analyzing data gathered
- Keeping abreast of entertainment marketing trends
REQUIREMENTS
- At least 5 years’ experience as a marketing manager or digital marketing manager; with experience in developing campaigns from the ground up – positioning, audience targeting, media strategy, art/creatives, and timelines/roadmaps
- Background in entertainment marketing a plus
- Creative and strategic
- Data-savvy
- Clear, concise communication skills
- Knowledgeable about different varieties of entertainment content especially Filipino programs, movies, etc.
- Familiarity with ABS-CBN content a plus
- Fan of pop culture and aware of goings-on in local Filipino entertainment scene
- Disciplined in managing his/her own time
- Adheres to deadlines
- College degree in Marketing/Digital Marketing, Communications, Business
