Prior to the shutdown of its broadcast operations in 2020, ABS-CBN was the largest television network in the Philippines. As a radio broadcast company, it operated 22 radio stations including anchor radio stations in Mega Manila, DZMM and DWRR, in the AM and FM bands, respectively.
The company delivers television programming outside of the Philippines to over 3 million viewers in North America, the Middle East, Europe, Japan, Australia, Canada, and other countries in Asia, through the internet and the Company’s global distribution platform, TFC, using DTH satellite service, cable television channels, IPTV, mobile applications and video streaming services. RESPONSIBILITIES
The Business Development/Marketing Assistant will support the team in driving the organization’s growth by assisting with marketing initiatives, business development strategies, and client relationship management. This role involves contributing to market research, preparing materials, coordinating projects, and assisting in securing business opportunities.
- Support the development and execution of business and marketing strategies to drive growth in products and services of ABS-CBN News.
- Assist in identifying new business opportunities and potential markets through research and analysis of industry trends and competition.
- Help create presentations, proposals, and marketing materials for client meetings, roadshows, and internal planning.
- Assist in maintaining and strengthening relationships with key clients and partners.
- Coordinate meetings and support the preparation of pitches to secure collaborations and revenue potential.
- Track and monitor project deliverables with internal and external teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Help manage and maintain accurate records of agreements and other business documentation.
- Contribute to achieving revenue targets by supporting advertising sales, marketing, and other relevant groups.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience: 3–4 years of experience in marketing, advertising, or a related field.
- Skills: Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills with a proactive approach to work.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with marketing tools (e.g., social media platforms, or design tools like Canva) is an advantage.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Preferred: Exposure to PR or advertising agencies and knowledge of current market trends.
