RESPONSIBILITIES

    The Marketing Officer will handle the implementation of brand/product/platform marketing initiatives (ex. strategy, execution and monitoring of promotional campaigns; media planning; field sales merchandising development and roll-out).The Marketing Officer is tasked to develop and manage marketing campaigns that integrate advertising, public relations, sales promotion, digital, social media marketing to generate awareness and conversion. They are tasked to direct all community building plans and programs for the market segment and product category.

     
    Strategy:
    • Create integrated marketing & communication strategies – to build product awareness, increase ticket sales in all channels and touchpoints, bring in new customers, and engage repeat customers.  
    • Work with Events team to provide relevant data and insights in conceptualizing and identifying the events that would resonate to the market
    • Participate and do continuous market research on current trends in event planning and on-ground engagement, and trends in audience needs.
    • Collaborate and work with sales & distribution team to identify effective touchpoints to reach target audience.
    • Collaborate closely with community partners for grassroots marketing and in the distribution of tickets and street merchandising.
     
    Planning:
    • In-charge of the on-going assessment, analysis and reporting on Market and Customer issues, challenges and opportunities.
    • Ensure execution of events are aligned with brand vision, strategy and objectives
    • Develop mechanics and implementation plans for the region’s marketing campaigns and promotions for events based on needs of and what resonates with the market, including budgets for each initiative.
    • Responsible for integrating promotional elements into marketing and maximizing communications channels.
     
    Implementation/Execution:
    • Lead the implementation of the 360 campaign and successful integrated marketing communications through development and production of all marketing campaign materials
    • Lead the planning and execution of on ground activities that will engage the customers and achieve great customer experience
    • Handle all promotional campaigns, media placements of events on all sales touchpoints. Lead and coordinate with teams that ensure the development, design, production, inventory planning and roll-out of all marketing materials.
     
    Partner & Business Development
    Establish and nurture relationships and seize opportunities to interact with community in relevant public spaces – on-ground & online, to achieve mutual objectives. 
    • Establish and sustain a public footprint of the brand within the local community.
    • Provide fully-entrenched representation in the grassroots to position ABS-CBN not just as a media partner but as a solution- provider to local leaders and movers, thereby making us their “partner-of-choice”.
    • Build evergreen community relationship to help grow the business
      • Build community partners/ influencers
      • Aggregate the widest possible audience by engaging various interest groups to promote various campaigns through all forms of communication, including dedicated email, newsletters and social media.
      • Manage the creation of a community-based communications tool kit and align outreach tactics and strategy with the social media strategist and PR to ensure messaging is consistent.
    • Help vetted organizations fulfill their missions utilizing ABS-CBN’s strengths
    • Participation in key community events - attending relevant community events to constantly build relationship and seek opportunities for the business & segment
     
    Analysis:
    • Track and report data with events team to help measure KPIs
    • Gather insights on ground and track engagement online for additional and deeper understanding of the market and its reactions to the experience
    • Assist in collecting market intelligence on product preference, customer behavior, competitors and market opportunities.
    • Monitor competition with continuous market intelligence
     
    Administrative:
    • Preparing Requests for Payment (RFPs), RCPs and Contracts for suppliers and partners
    • Preparing Broadcast Orders (BO) for TVCs that need to air on TFC
    • Sending out of deliveries via Fedex or regular mail
    • Other administrative matters that relate to the function and support of other groups to reach marketing objectives

REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, Business Economics, Communications, Finance or related courses.
    • Minimum 3 years' experience within Marketing and/or Sales function, with exposure and good grasp of product/customer management, distribution, project management, business development.
    • Must have practical experience of doing events marketing – exposure to mounting of events (campaigns, on-ground set-up and customer engagement)
    • Ability to multi-task; work under pressure and on tight deadlines; and meet deadlines on multiple projects.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills across internal & external team members, customers, dealers and other third-party vendors, community organizations
