BUSINESS SUMMARY

ABS-CBN Music is a Line of Business (LOB) under ABS-CBN Film Productions, Inc. (AFPI). The ABS-CBN Music Group is engaged in the business of music content production, marketing and promotions, including allied businesses such as music publishing and music distribution, talent management and events organization. The Group’s activities revolve around these brands: Music Labels (Star Music, Tarsier Records, Star Pop, DNA Music, and other sub-labels), MOR Entertainment and OneMusicPH.

ABS-CBN Music also provides music servicing and copyright clearance services primarily to other business units of the ABS-CBN group.  Complementary to this business is the management of artists through the Music Management Group and the creation, mounting and line production of events with ABS-CBN Events. The Company also produces commissioned recordings for films and television shows, commercial advertisements, and events for brands and other clients. The Company also controls a valuable music publishing and sound recording catalogue of iconic Filipino hit songs which covers more than half a century. These are licensed to third parties for various usages, including theme songs in TV shows and films, commercial advertisements, and recordings.

RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Participates in brainstorming sessions in the creation of social media strategy, and
    • campaigns utilizing available research data and benchmarking with other social media activations and digital companies.
    • Participates in discussions to determine the appropriate platform to use to reach the target audience/customers.
    • Participates in development and execution of growth strategies for the label’s various social accounts and pages toward strengthening brand presence, identity, and viability.
    • Collaborates with different community managers and social media teams on public-facing messaging and partnership programs.
    • Prepares appropriate captioning for social media postings based on context provided.
    • Creates and oversees delivery of materials for social media release
    • Schedules and publishes social media postings.
    • Generates, edits, posts and shares content (original text, images or video) that build connections and encourage community building, participation and engagement
    • Communicates, interacts and responds to social media followers and subscribers
    • Stays up to date on best practices, emerging and trending topics in social media by attending social media workshops, synergy, alignments, as may be assigned or required by the Company.
    • Monitors activities and anchor content on trending topics to ensure relevance of materials used for all official social media accounts
    • May we be requested to attend events, meetings – online or face to face in relations to the social media marketing and campaigns of the music releases, content, events and assets.
    • Attends to documentation and administrative requirements as part of the completion of services
