The Company is also one of the leading radio broadcasters, operating eighteen radio stations throughout the key cities of the Philippines. ABS-CBN provides news and entertainment programming for nine channels on cable TV and operates the country's largest cable TV service provider. The Company also owns the leading-cinema and music production and distribution outfits in the country. It brings its content to worldwide audiences via cable, satellite, online and mobile.

The Company has interests in content development and production, cable and satellite television services, merchandising and licensing, mobile and online multimedia services, glossy magazine publishing, video and audio post production, and overseas services, all of which complement and enhance ABS-CBN's strength in content production and distribution.

RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Conducts hazard identification and risk analysis of all ABS-CBN facilities, then prepare and submits Safety Risk Assessments (SfRA) to the HSERM.
    • Leads the investigation of all safety related accidents / incidents of company assets occurring within company or outside premises (i.e. Remote Locations, Events etc.) and ensures timely submission of reports to the Head, Corporate Security and Safety Division (HCSSD); maintains an Accident Registry and accident investigation file.
    • Conducts periodic and regular inventory, operational evaluation and assessment of emergency management resources.
    • Assists the HSERM in the conduct of review and proposal of recommendations for the acquisition, expansion and/or upgrade of safety systems and/or equipment; implements related projects; determines requirements of and initiating requisitions of safety and emergency related equipment (i.e. portable fire extinguishers etc.), plans and implements maintenance programs related thereto.
    • Develops, cascades, implements and continuously review company safety and emergency management manual ensuring compliance with pertinent government regulations and laws, as well as with the international standards.
    • Formulates, implements and continuously reviews emergency response instructions and standard operating procedures.
    • Assist HSERM in the formulation, implementation and continuous review of safety training programs to develop and enhance emergency preparedness, emergency response capabilities and emergency management of the Emergency Management Unit (EMU), volunteer employees and employees in general.
    • Assists the HSERM in reviewing safety management strategies, safety programs and projects and implements such strategies, programs and projects approved by the HCSSD.
    • Performs other related duties as directed by the HSERM.

REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor’s Degree is required.
    • At least ten (10) years progressive career in the Occupational Safety, Health and Emergency Management field.
    • At least ten (10) years Supervisory Level or at least two (2) years Managerial Level experience.
    • At least three (3) years Accredited OSH Practitioner
    • Technical Skills Requirement:
      • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office applications.

      • OSH Inspection / Audit
      • Accident  / Incident Investigation
