ABS-CBN Film Productions, Inc. or Star Cinema is one of the leading Filipino Film production and distribution outfit. It has produced more than 240 films in various genres that suit the preferences of Filipinos of all ages and background from anywhere in the world.

As of 2015, Star Cinema has captured more than 83% of the theatrical market share.  More than half of its total releases reached and exceeded the P200M mark in the box office with Sisterakas (2012) and It Takes a Man and a Woman (2013) earning more than P400M worldwide.  Girl, Boy Bakla, Tomboy has also reached more than P400M at the box office becoming the highest grossing Filipino movie of all time.

Star Cinema continues to dominate the industry by producing multi-awarded and box office movies that set the trend in Philippine cinema.

RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Day-to-day management and development of editorial content on social media
    platforms, including tweets, posts, and discussions.
    2. Proactively interact and interject with online communities across all Star Cinema
    platforms while following the socials playbook
    3. Generate community dialogue and buzz as well as answer questions and engage in
    conversation with the users to keep interactions flowing
    4. Engage with viewers during movie conferences and livestreams on assigned platforms.
    5. Respond to feedback and comments as well as route conversations to appropriate
    internal teams for response, as necessary
    6. Help identify and engage topic influencers and brand advocates
    7. Coordinates with the promo team regarding digital campaigns for movies
    8. Report and track ongoing moderation issues and provide findings to the Social
    Publishing and Operations Lead on a regular basis.
    9. Actively monitor online community areas for posts, messages and user-profiles deemed
    to be in violation of online community area guidelines and deal with such content and
    user-profiles appropriately, liaising with other stakeholders when required.
    10. Use social media monitoring tools to monitor conversations and report on metrics
    11. Brainstorm with the digital team for the monthly content calendar as well as come up
    with promotional content for key projects on socials
    12. Creates captions for branded content postings on Social Media accounts to be cleared
    by NM Creative Content Lead and Digital Marketing Specialist
    13. Actively posts and monitors branded content on social media platforms and ensures
    that it gets the best possible reach and engagement from the community (socials and
    Youtube community)
    14. Coordinates with Community Management Supervisor and Digital Marketing Specialist
    for published links of branded content released on social media platforms
    15. Attends inter-department meetings if called upon

REQUIREMENTS

    1. Graduate of Communication Arts, Journalism, Creative Writing, or any other related course
    2. Excellent written and oral communication skills
    3. Social media and tech savvy
    4. Past experience with media coverages
    5. Requires minimum supervision
    6. Dedicated and passionate
    7. Has knowledge in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects and other related editing software
