ABS-CBN Shared Service Center Pte. Ltd. (SSC) is a captive service provider for ABS-CBN Corporation and its local, regional and global subsidiaries. The parent company of SSC is ABS-CBN Corporation.

SSC is primarily engaged in providing support services for Finance and Accounting, IT, HR, and Order Management and Fulfillment. The service center is a foreign company duly organized and incorporated under the laws of Singapore with a branch located at Eugenio Lopez Jr. Communications Center (ELJCC), Eugenio Lopez Drive, Quezon City.

The facility at ELJCC has about 300 employees and has been operational since September 1, 2009. The company is expected to significantly increase its headcount over the next five years with the impending service expansion.

SSC is mainly interested in sharing best practices at IBPAP given the company's unique background in the Broadcasting Industry. The company is looking forward to get in touch with other shared service organizations to benchmark on processes, systems and service expansion strategies. The center is on its journey from a developing organization to a mature captive shared services catering not only to ABS-CBN companies but also to its affiliates in the Lopez Conglomerate.


    • Lead and manage a team responsible for delivering the Financial Recording and Reconciliation Operations which includes but not limited to:
      • Transactional postings
      • Month-end, quarterly and year-end closing
      • Variance analysis
      • Reconciliation activities such as intercompany, revenue, bank and subsidiary ledgers vs. general ledgers
    • Work closely with the clients for the completion of the financial statements and other accounting schedules and reports, including supporting notes to the audited financial statements and other filings.
    • Overall responsible for the Financial Statement Close Process based on agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs), KPI and Operational Standards.
    • Facilitate Balance Sheet Reviews (BSRs) and assist client in carrying out projects to maintain quality and integrity of books.
    • Assist internal and external auditors during the conduct of their audit engagements.
    • People and Operations Management - performance assessments, coaching sessions and work plan discussions with direct reports; provide guidance on prioritization and work load management; management of daily operational issues, its timely resolution and follow through of next steps to avoid future recurrence.
    • Perform Full-Term Equivalent (FTE) analysis to identify optimal headcount required for the effective management of the team to deliver its commitments to its business partners.
    • Work in support of the Record to Report Service Delivery Head and the leadership team towards the achievement of various business and client initiatives.
    • Initiate, lead and participate in various continuous improvement programs to promote efficient and effective service delivery.
    • Ensure strong control environment by enforcing compliance standards, internal controls and best practices.
    • Deliver a high level of Customer Service through a positive customer-focused mindset.


    1. Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
    2. Strong Finance operations management experience preferably with exposure in internal/external audit and/or controllership and/or finance service delivery.
    3. Experience in ERP systems is a must.
    4. Knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and Philippine Taxation.
    5. Proven strong analytical, people management and problem-solving skills.
    6. Knowledge of Robotics Process Automation, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Machine Learning as it relates to finance service delivery is a plus.
