The Company has interests in content development and production, cable and satellite television services, merchandising and licensing, mobile and online multimedia services, glossy magazine publishing, video and audio post production, and overseas services, all of which complement and enhance ABS-CBN's strength in content production and distribution.


    • Ensure the compliance of the Company, including Subsidiary Groups with the DOLE Requirements, OSH Standards and Laws, as well as its IRR.
    • Assist in determining and designating Safety Officers, based on the OSH Standards and Laws, and have them undergo Certification Programs with an accredited Safety Training Organization (STO).
    • Develop and / or deliver the Mandatory 8 – hour Safety and Health Worker’s Seminar based on the OSH Law IRR Module.
    • Conducts hazard identification and risk analysis of all ABS-CBN facilities then prepare and submits Safety Risk Assessments (SfRA) to the Head, CSSD.
    • Visit and conduct Annual Safety Risk Assessments of all ABS-CBN facilities nationwide, Regional Stations and Transmitters, and recommend measure to address/ mitigate identified risks. Submit formal reports to Head, CSSD.
    • Formulates Safety Programs for each facility, Regional Station and Transmitter, incorporating safety measures that addresses the identified risks during the conduct of Safety Risk Assessments. Ensure a Safety Plan is in place and updated to meet the changes or validates the risk landscape.
    • Assist each facility, Regional Station and Transmitter, in creating and developing a working OSH Committee.
    • Assists the Head, Safety and Events Risk Management Department (SERMD) in reviewing, and updating if necessary, the Safety Management Strategies, Safety Programs and Projects, implement such strategies, programs and projects approved by Head, Corporate Security and Safety Division (CSSD).
    • Conducts investigative activities on special concerns in relation with OSH as directed by the Head, CSSD.
    • Performs other related duties and activities as directed by the Head, CSSD


    • Bachelor’s Degree is required.
    • At least ten (10) years progressive career in the Occupational Safety, Health and Emergency Management field.
    • At least ten (10) years Accredited OSH Practitioner
    • Technical Skills Requirement:
      • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office applications.
      • Strong knowledge of regulations and laws related to the following:

        • Building Code
        • Fire Code
      • OSH Training Instructor
      • OSH Inspection / Audit
      • Accident  / Incident Investigation
      • First Aid and Emergency Management
