Prior to the shutdown of its broadcast operations in 2020, ABS-CBN was the largest television network in the Philippines. As a radio broadcast company, it operated 22 radio stations including anchor radio stations in Mega Manila, DZMM and DWRR, in the AM and FM bands, respectively. 
The company delivers television programming outside of the Philippines to over 3 million viewers in North America, the Middle East, Europe, Japan, Australia, Canada, and other countries in Asia, through the internet and the Company’s global distribution platform, TFC, using DTH satellite service, cable television channels, IPTV, mobile applications and video streaming services. Its offerings are further complemented by subsidiaries focused on other multimedia services such as film production, music recording, telecommunications, and magazine and book publishing. 


    As a Product Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the product development process, ensuring products are delivered on time, and meeting the needs of our audience. The Product Specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize features, develop product roadmaps, and drive product development to successful delivery.

    • Manage the entire product life cycle, from concept to launch, ensuring products meet customer needs and are delivered on time and within budget.
    Work with cross-functional teams, including editorial, design, engineering, and marketing, to define and prioritize product features and requirements.
    • Collaborate with product managers to develop product roadmaps and drive the execution of the product roadmap.
    • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and gather customer feedback to ensure product development meets market demand.
    • Work with the engineering team to manage product development, ensuring that products meet quality standards, are scalable, and are delivered on time and within budget.
    • Define and track product KPIs and success metrics to evaluate the product's impact and make data-driven decisions.
    • Develop training materials and support documentation for new products.
    • Keep up to date with industry trends, news product innovations, and technology advancements, and apply these insights to product development.


    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product development.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Experience working in a news organization, with a deep understanding of the industry.
    • Knowledge of agile methodologies and experience working in an agile environment.
    • Experience in market research, competitive analysis, and gathering customer feedback.
    • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
