RESPONSIBILITIES

    The Production Assistant for Events will directly report to the Executive Producer and shall be responsible of the following tasks:
    • To manage, handle, oversee, prioritize, and respond to numerous and simultaneous tasks at a given time.
    • To participate in concept generation and creative direction of  the assigned segment/program.
    • To explain and differentiate concept thrusts of assigned show, as well as to provide editing calls regarding styles and presentation.
    • To determine the appropriate production requirements based on one's analysis and interpretation of the script, and be able to secure identified production requirements effectively and cost efficiently.
    • To provide solutions to specific production concerns by making sound and effective decisions in the absence of the Executive or Associate Producer.
    • To perform basic editing and give guidance to editors during editing (cut to cut, dissolve) based on script.
    • To handle administrative tasks: operating the fax machine, photocopiers, VTR Machines, etc.
    • To compute running time and total running time by using time code feature in a VTR machine; to detect audio & video discrepancies during actual taping, editing and telecast.
    • To source for possible exchange deal arrangements for the segment/program and be able to finalize exchange deal arrangements (as long as terms and agreements are within identified limits and parameters; if outside defined parameters to be approved by the Executive Producer or PM).
     
     

REQUIREMENTS

    Qualifications:
    • Graduate of a Bachelor's/ College degree course in Mass Communications, Broadcast Communication, Marketing, or any equivalent.
    • With at least 6 months to a year related experience in events and production management
    • Good organization and communication skills
    • Knowledgeable and experienced in MS Office applications, editing concepts, and production workflow
    • Excellent time management skills; knows how to organize priorities.
