Prior to the shutdown of its broadcast operations in 2020, ABS-CBN was the largest television network in the Philippines. As a radio broadcast company, it operated 22 radio stations including anchor radio stations in Mega Manila, DZMM and DWRR, in the AM and FM bands, respectively.
The company delivers television programming outside of the Philippines to over 3 million viewers in North America, the Middle East, Europe, Japan, Australia, Canada, and other countries in Asia, through the internet and the Company’s global distribution platform, TFC, using DTH satellite service, cable television channels, IPTV, mobile applications and video streaming services. Its offerings are further complemented by subsidiaries focused on other multimedia services such as film production, music recording, telecommunications, and magazine and book publishing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Programmatic and Yield Head, you will be the primary Subject Matter Expert when it comes to ABS-CBN’s strategy in maximizing yield via various programmatic channels. You will fully grasp not only our capabilities in executing O&O Programmatic Campaigns but be able to identify new Programmatic Business Opportunities across ABS-CBN’s properties globally.
- Be the main Point of Contact for all of ABS-CBN’s DSP, SSP and Ad Network partners
- Identify and pursue new programmatic business opportunities in ABS-CBN’s key markets
- Lead the onboarding of any new programmatic partners
- Produce regular reports analyzing the performance of all programmatic channels
- Regularly monitor and optimize the performance of programmatic channels via O&O and Third-Party platforms
- Produce actionable insights from the analysis of revenue and inventory so as to maximize ABS-CBN’s yield
- Curate various PMP products and drive adoption
- Assist in the pricing strategy and guidelines for different customers, buy types and geos
- Offer support, troubleshoot underperforming or under delivering programmatic campaigns/deals
- Communicate with senior stakeholders internally and externally
- Assist in the training and development of operations and commercial staff when required
REQUIREMENTS
- Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree
- 4+ years of previous experience in the programmatic space either for a Tech Vendor (SSP/DSP/Ad Network), Agency or Publisher
- In-platform execution experience using either DSP or SSP platforms
- Proven experience in the onboarding and management of programmatic partners
- Understanding of the programmatic landscape in the Philippines as well as other Regions
- Experience in managing partner relationships 
- A demonstrated understanding of digital advertising standards
- Having a finger on the pulse of programmatic trends and practices
- Strong communication skills in these aspects: interpersonal, verbal, and written
- Exceptional work ethic with the ability to work independently with a bias for action
- Ability to interpret data, and articulate the outcomes in a concise manner
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task a necessity
