The company delivers television programming outside of the Philippines to over 3 million viewers in North America, the Middle East, Europe, Japan, Australia, Canada, and other countries in Asia, through the internet and the Company’s global distribution platform, TFC, using DTH satellite service, cable television channels, IPTV, mobile applications and video streaming services. Its offerings are further complemented by subsidiaries focused on other multimedia services such as film production, music recording, telecommunications, and magazine and book publishing. 


    Job Overview

    Oversee the development of stories or research activities by checking the story outlook, news development, historical facts and best story lead or angle that are the subject of investigative reports. Ensures the team supports all in-depth research needs for content production and that all research deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements.


    • Graduate of journalism, political science, social science, economics, information management, statistics, and other related courses
    • At least five years of related working experience required
    • In-depth knowledge of current events and history, familiarity with the workings of government 
    • Proficiency with Excel required, knowledge of other data processing and management applications preferred
    • Possession of a keen news sense and attention to detail
    • Ability to maintain a network of sources and research partners
    • Good written and oral communication skills in both English and Filipino
