RESPONSIBILITIES

    Position Summary

    Provide independent assessment of the effectiveness of controls, systems & processes, and risk management implemented in the technical operations areas.

    Provide consultancy services to add value and improve the CompanyĆ¢€™s technical operations.

    Duties and Responsibilities
    • Conducts independent assessment of the production processes, technical systems and network set-up/configuration, operations, maintenance and protection/security.
    • Helps the technical operations organization accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic/disciplines approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control and government processes.
    • Ensure adequacy of internal controls and compliance with all company and regulatory entities requirements.
    • Summarizes audit findings and recommendations for presentation to the Technical Audit Head. Prepares the draft audit report.

REQUIREMENTS

    • Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or Electrical Engineering or disciplines related to Broadcast/Telecommunications Engineering.
    • At least eight (8) years combined experience as a Technical Auditor or Broadcast or Communication Engineer or Quality Assurance/Control Engineer or Network/Operations Engineer or Transmission/Switching Engineer.
    • Experience in or exposure to broadcasting /telecommunication networks (e.g. switches, transmission, etc.) required and should be technically knowledgeable in network architecture and solution design, implementation, operations and management of infrastructure.
    • Able to utilize sound engineering and audit principles in conducting technical review of processes, facilities and network infrastructure.
    • Highly proficient in the use of the computer and with working knowledge of broadcasting/telecommunications terminals or workstations.
    • Above average communication skills (verbal and written) and interpersonal/people skills.
    • Experience in or exposure to the use of computer-assisted-audit-techniques preferred.
    • Ability to document processes, especially with modeling tools (e.g. Visio, Powerpoint, etc.)
    • Familiarity with Philippines broadcasting governance institute (e.g. NTC, DENR, etc.) and ITU standards/practices preferred.
