Prior to the shutdown of its broadcast operations in 2020, ABS-CBN was the largest television network in the Philippines. As a radio broadcast company, it operated 22 radio stations including anchor radio stations in Mega Manila, DZMM and DWRR, in the AM and FM bands, respectively.

    We are seeking a skilled Specialist, SEO to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both content SEO and technical SEO. As an Specialist, SEO you will be responsible for optimizing our websites to increase organic traffic, improve search engine rankings, and enhance overall online visibility. You will collaborate with content creators, web developers, and digital marketers to implement SEO strategies that align with our business goals. 
    • Work with the newsroom to optimize website content for SEO by integrating relevant keywords, metadata, and industry best practices
    • Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify valuable search terms
    • Work with the engineering team to implement technical SEO best practices, improving Core Web Vitals, site speed, crawling, and indexing, to name a few examples
    • Train, establish, and evangelize SEO best practices across all necessary departments
    • Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools and be responsible for actions taken to address any issues
    • Develop and execute off-page SEO strategies, including link building and outreach
    • Provide reports on traffic, keyword visibility, and core web vitals, to name a few, to show performance in search rankings, visits, and acquisition rates on a regular basis
    • Manage all aspects of campaign spending
    • Serve as the subject matter expert and stay updated on SEO trends, algorithm changes and ranking methods
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve overall website performance


    • Proven experience as a Specialist, SEO with a focus on content and technical SEO
    • Familiarity with SEO tools such, but not limited to, SEMrush and Google Analytics
    • Ability to complete competitive analysis of other companies within the industry 
    • Knowledgeable in “added value” trends, such as Zero Click searches, Google Passage Ranking, Search Generative Experience, to name a few
    • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions
    • Ability to work across different departments and stakeholders, at times to “influence without authority”
    • Ability to “roll your sleeves up” and get the work done yourself when necessary
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
    • Experience in publisher websites a plus
