ABS-CBN Film Productions, Inc., a subsidiary of ABS-CBN Corporation, is known as an established industry trailblazer in content production and distribution of high-caliber and engaging content -- films, series and digital programs. AFPI’s slate is produced by its two homegrown brands – Star Cinema and Black Sheep.

AFPI has established itself as a reliable partner for advertisers and external production companies and has successfully ventured into content distribution (traditional and digital platforms). AFPI has recently expanded its business portfolio to include talent development and management of stars and influencers via Rise Artists Studio and Rise iHub.

RESPONSIBILITIES

    JOB SUMMARY
    The Social Media Producer is responsible for conceptualizing, producing, and implementing all social media content, strategy, executions, productization and innovations for identified ABSCBN Films accounts and other official channels. The social media producer will also work hand-in-hand with the internal teams from Ad Prom, Digital Marketing and YouTube in the integration of all campaigns and activations to the overall social media content plan and strategy for implementation. The social media producer is also responsible for optimization and monetization, and content publishing on respective social media platforms.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    1. Day-to-day management and development of editorial content on social media platforms, including tweets, posts, and discussions, in alignment with over-all LOB strategies created by the Social Media Lead.
    2. Write, research and produce daily social media content for assigned platforms
    3. Keep tab on movie news and pop culture updates for social media posting.
    4. Cover all assigned movie-related events (press conference, story conference, premiere night, pictorial, on-location shoots, etc.) and conduct interviews of artists and key film crew members as online content, if needed.
    5. Monitor the performance of assigned published content and makes sure all are aligned with the group’s strategies and goals.
    6. Identify and plot top-performing videos for re-blast strategy.
    7. Work hand-in-hand with the Content teams, Ad Prom teams, and Synergy teams in the integration of all campaigns, video productions, on-ground and social activations to the overall social media content plan and strategy for implementation.
    8. Proactively interact and interject with online communities across assigned platforms while following the socials playbook.
    9. Generate community dialogue and buzz as well as answer questions and engage in conversation with the users to keep interactions flowing.
    10. Respond to feedback and comments as well as route conversations to appropriate internal teams for response, as necessary.
    11. Report and track ongoing moderation issues and provide findings and recommendations (based on the AFPI Socials Playbook) to the Community Management and Operations Lead on a regular basis.
    12. Monitor and analyze assigned social media accounts (and its competitors) to optimize our content and social media properties and help achieve the objectives of these channels: Revenue, Engagement, and Community/Follower Growth.
    13. Brainstorm with the digital team for the monthly content calendar as well as come up with promotional content for key projects on socials.
    14. When applicable, create branded captions, actively posts and monitors branded content on social media platforms and ensures that it gets the best possible reach and engagement from the community.
    15. Attends inter-department meetings if called upon.

REQUIREMENTS

    QUALIFICATIONS
    • Bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts, Multimedia Arts, Journalism, or any related courses
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Social media savvy with a strong grasp of social media trends
    • Highly creative, dedicated, and passionate
