The Big Dipper Digital Content and Design, Inc. is a subsidiary of ABS-CBN Corporation, in-charge of operating and maintaining the company's Media Asset Management system which includes:

- Converting Analog Video Materials to Digital Format
- Video Quality Checking of Ingested Video
- Cataloging of Ingested Materials
- Providing Transcription/Translation/ Synopsis Writing
- Processing of Multi-Format Dubbing


    • Translates program episodes for English subtitles.
    • Proofreads own translations prior to submission.
    • Coordinates and meets with Superior for assignments, machine schedules and deadlines.
    • Handles administrative tasks assigned by superior.
    • Attends to all queries & provides assistance to clients and ensures that customer feedbacks & complaints are monitored and addressed in order to continually improve the effectiveness of the quality management system & to meet the requirements of clients.
    • Determines and formulates preventive actions to eliminate causes of potential nonconformities of the section in order to prevent their occurrence.
    • Complies with the implemented corrective actions to eliminate causes of nonconformities encountered by the section to prevent their recurrence.


    • Candidate must be a graduate of Creative Writing, Journalism, Literature or any related course preferred
    • Has excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Knowledgeable in basic Computer operations
    • Can work under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Keen with details
    • Flexible and can work with minimum supervision
    • With excellent command of the English grammar/language
    • Willing to work in shifts and long hours
    • At least 1 year related working experience preferred
    • Fellowship/attendance in a creative writing workshop an advantage
    • Must pass the Synopsis Writing Exam
    • Must pass the Translation Exam
    • Willing to accept a Consultancy-based employment
