Prior to the shutdown of its broadcast operations in 2020, ABS-CBN was the largest television network in the Philippines. As a radio broadcast company, it operated 22 radio stations including anchor radio stations in Mega Manila, DZMM and DWRR, in the AM and FM bands, respectively.

RESPONSIBILITIES
JOB SUMMARY
Overall in-charge in the efficient and effective management of assigned programs under business unit by closely interfacing with production and TSG from pre-production to post-production stage. He/she is also responsible for ensuring the deployment, proper utilization and management of all program technical requirements from manpower allocation, equipment, and facility requirements.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serves as a project manager and conduit between Production and the Technical Services Group in providing the technical requirements of the program from pre-production to post-production stage.
- Develops and/or implements technical production workflows and project templates and shall project manage for programs assigned under business unit.
- Attends technical meetings and evaluates manpower, equipment and facilities requirement based on program.
- Prepares realistic cost estimates for budget purposes
- Prepares technical template based on agreements and approved standards
- Evaluates rental requirements of programs and sends out bid invites, negotiates and awards long or short-term rental of technical requirements of programs which are not available in-house.
- Assess and ensure availability of manpower, facilities and equipment to programs through allocation meetings.
- Handles deployment of allocated manpower requirement for all studio and remote programs (regular and IJM employees) based on contract provisions.
- Implements performance evaluation and makes recommendations for training and development, conducts employee disciplinary actions and motivates to achieve peak productivity and performance.
- Monitors beyond template (emergency and additional) manpower/ equipment requests and coordinates the same to the other Technical Services Heads.
- Provide immediate back-up plans during equipment failure and/or manpower shortage prior and during taping, shoots and live programs.
- Ensures effective utilization and deployment of agreed technical production requirements through periodic set visits to assigned programs.
- Keeps abreast of latest innovations in equipment and technology used in technical production and informs production partners accordingly.
- Ensures the accuracy, completion and approval of payroll based on actual work rendered.

- Able to demonstrate understanding of the entire production process and workflow in order to plan and comply to broadcast quality standards
- Able to effectively plan and monitor the project - timelines, budget & cost control, resources allocation & management (manpower, facility and special requirements)
- Able to proactively assess, clarify, validate customer needs and provide solutions that can address customer concerns and issues
- Able to ensure team understanding, alignment and compliance on end to end workflow - from pre-production to airing.
- Able to provide high quality customer care and satisfaction with focus on building and sustaining relationships and connections
- Able to evaluate and adapt to changes necessary in keeping the project aligned to the objectives defined
- Able to keep abreast of constant changes in production technology and identify applications to production process.
Vendor Management
- Able to build pool of outsourced suppliers based on capabilities & standards that are compatible to requirements of programs, broadcast standards of ABS-CBN.
- Able to negotiate effectively equipment and facility requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
- Graduate of any four-year course preferably Communication Arts, Mass Communication or other communication courses.
- At least 1 year experience in manpower planning or scheduling for studio and/or remote technical operations
- With advanced knowledge on production processes and technical equipment used in production
- Excellent in MS Office (i.e., MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint)
