BUSINESS SUMMARY

The newest venture of ABS-CBN is Play Innovations, Inc., a subsidiary formed in 2012. Its mission is to provide Filipino children with exceptional role-playing experience in KidZania Manila, an educational theme park that opened its doors in 2015.

It’s a play city built to scale for children – complete with paved streets, transport system, and a functioning economy. In KidZania, children can explore their interests, gifts, and talents and learn through over a hundred fun and immersive role-playing activities.

Children can become policemen or train to be firefighters, probably the most popular activity at any of the different KidZania parks worldwide. They can learn to cook their favorite food at several restaurants equipped with real kitchens. Future broadcasters can discover what it takes to bring the world the news in an ABS-CBN mini studio. Future doctors and nurses learn hands-on what to do in a hospital emergency room when a life-size doll patient goes into cardiac arrest.

RESPONSIBILITIES

    Position Summary:

    The Treasury Operations Officer will be responsible for the operations of the Treasury department, the team’s regular reports, and the overall administrative efficiency and productivity of the group. 

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Provides oversight to the whole treasury operations in relation to:
      • Development and streamlining of the systems, procedures, methods and controls in order to increase and standardize the levels of administrative efficiency and optimize the productivity of the group.
      • Generate trustworthy and daily information related to KidZos: income and expenses for each establishment and their final balance
      • Ensure the correct and accurate flow of the monetary resources generated during the operation and guarantee they are deposited immediately and completely in the Company’s bank accounts
      • Consent to the purchases request’s process (emergent purchases) generated at the park
      • Analyze and supervise that promotions and discounts are executed in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures
      • Supervise the facility, development and streamlining of systems, procedures, methods and control in order to increase and standardize the administrative efficiency and optimize the profitability and productivity of the park
    • Build and maintain strong relationship with operational banks.
    • Support and prepare various management reports as required
      • Establish / evaluate current system that supports various reports
      • Analyze reporting variances and make recommendations on how to improve and reduce variances going forward
      • Make sure all daily information related to Families, Schools, Events, Parties and Corporate Groups is reported correctly based on information surrendered by each area.
      • Elaborate a daily report which demonstrates the behavior of the facility and send it to the Administration and Finance Office for evaluation
    • Processing Accident Claims from Pioneer Insurance
    • Processing Pazz and Voucher Requests from Ministries such as: Tourism, Marketing, TM, IP, CS, VS

REQUIREMENTS

    Qualifications:

    • Business Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in relevant work experience. Accounting degree preferred but not required.
    • At least 5 years previous work-related experience required. 
    • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office applications especially Excel.  Demonstrated excellence in time management skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a team fostered environment.
    • Ability to work in a multi-tasked environment.
    • Ability to prioritize and organize work.
    • Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule
