BUSINESS SUMMARY
The Big Dipper Digital Content and Design, Inc. is a subsidiary of ABS-CBN Corporation, in-charge of operating and maintaining the company's Media Asset Management system which includes:
- Converting Analog Video Materials to Digital Format
- Video Quality Checking of Ingested Video
- Cataloging of Ingested Materials
- Providing Transcription/Translation/ Synopsis Writing
- Processing of Multi-Format Dubbing
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Virtual Graphics System Operator is responsible for managing and operating live TV graphics systems during broadcasts, ensuring seamless integration with live events in order to contribute to high-quality on-air graphics and advertising campaigns.
REQUIREMENTS
- College graduate of Communication Arts, Multimedia Arts, Electronics Communication Engineer, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or any related courses preferred
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly
- Adapt quickly to evolving technologies and processes
- Ability to stay focused for extended periods of time in a fast-paced live broadcast environment
- Keen with details
- Experience with TV production or live broadcasting is preferred
