RESPONSIBILITIES

    The Writer is responsible for creation of scripts that are related to the theme, concept, content, and objective of the assigned event/show. 
     
    Responsibilities:
     
    Market Awareness
    • Able to recognize contemporary trends in various TV formats both here and abroad 
    • Able to discren and forecast changing audience preferences 
    • Able to maximize the use of genre/format/industry/network/cinema/radio/print/music and dance/literature/political/regional/international news events, upcoming stars and trends for integration to program as creatively required
    • Able to generate concepts and ideas with the creative team
    Script Development
    • Able to write scripts that are both cost and production friendly with minimal compromise on the integrity of the material
    • Able to write and execute revisions on the script and if needed, on the set
    • Able to respond adequately, immediately, and effectively to various conditions on the set
    • Able to translate research materials and backlog information into an interesting question guide
    • Able to identify required visuals based on the script and relay the same to the researcher
    Line-up planning
    • Able to suggest and develop per episode repertoire and guest line-up with EP

REQUIREMENTS

    Minimum requirements:
    • Graduate of any B.S or A.B four year course on Broadcast Communication, Communication Arts, and any related course
    • Has 6 months to 1 year related experience
    • Has good organization and communication skills
    Technical skills required:
    • Knowledgeable in MS Office applications
    • Knowledge on Production workflow
    • Knowledge on events management
